Well what a lovely visit to the @natural_history_museum that was! 😁 was great to see the Pokemon Pop Up Shop and the exhibition! 😍 by @matt_vmax

So how did we get here? A PSA 8 Reverse Holo Charizard from Legendary Collection?

Well in 2013 you could pick up Legendary Collection packs for £8.95 a pack! That is definitely not the case anymore! I remember opening these packs on my bed one night after working a fast food job and you guessed it! The Charizard was pulled!

It sat dormant in my collection for years , sleeved and not a lot going on. I did consider sending it for grading but never got round to it.

I made @coatlectibles aware I had it and he insisted it needed a good checking over and a little clean!

May 2025 at London Card Show , PSA where in attendance so I brought my Zard and left it in their hands. Praying it would be a respectable grade! Thankfully it came back better than I imagined in an 8!

This card has been in my life for the best part of 12 years! Which is absolutely crazy to me! It’s absolutely stunning and definitely deserves to be slabbed! 🔥 the holo pattern with the fireworks is ridiculous and deserves a video of how insane it is!

English or Japanese?

As many of you will know I have always been into Japanese Pokemon cards over the years. The texture and overall print quality of the cards for a long time were far superior over English and unfortunately that is a fact.

However looking at these two cards side by side , English has really upped its game in terms of texture! There’s honestly not a lot in it between English and Japanese (in terms of 30th anyway) if anything the English card has slightly more detail which I was quite surprised by!

So which camp do you sit in? Native language or texture and quality? I lean more towards Japanese but English has definitely improved!!

Well I’ve had my first Autumnal start in work of the year , I forgot how depressing it is to go to work in the dark and come home in the dark 😂

But here’s a Crobat to mirror my feelings of today!

Favourite region? Johto. So of course if there’s any cards I need from 30th it’s this Shining Celebi (Shiny Onion) 🧅

I do still need the Lugia but it is unfortunately evading me at the minute! So this one will have to do for now! 😁

We’ve gone old school today 😎

This Charizard was featured in the Neo Premium File 2 and it is a belter! I bought this in March 2013 for a whopping £22 including delivery 😅

Pikachu Day and Night

Finally have them both! Such a simple concept but so brilliantly executed! ☀️🎊 🌙🎆

Thank you to @rita_poke_girl for sending me the Day card! 😁😁

GENGAR

Had to expose this one to the sun cause the texture and added shine on this one is RIDICULOUS.

Massive shoutout to @pocketmonsterellie for sorting this beauty out for me! 😁

The set that inspired my name.

VMAX CLIMAX was one of the sets that brought me back to Pokemon for a 3rd time 😂

Absolutely stacked with so many amazing CSR and CHR cards , we would not see these in English until many months down the line so it always felt special to open these far earlier!

Mew 016/36 - Mythical & Legendary Dream Shine

I keep looking through my collection recently and a lot of cards I keep coming back to are CP5 😍

I’m expecting some other Mews back from this set soon so keep your eyes peeled for that 👀

Mythical & Legendary Dream Shine Collection came out over 10 years ago at this point , did I rip several boxes back then? You absolutely bet I did!

The reverse holo pattern on this set alone makes it stand out , combined with some amazing artwork and you have the perfect set! 😍
