Our beautiful Chloe is 18!!! @chloebrockbank You are one in a million and I love you forever and always. Thank you for the honor of being Dad. Get it girl. by @matthammertime

Today was such a hard day. Sending your son off to a foreign country for two years is heavier than I ever dreamed it would be. I’m so proud of him, but miss him so much already. He will do great things, but all I want is for him to be here. It’s selfish, I know, but you parents feel me. I can sit in my tears for a little bit.

I’m so happy that the people of Africa get to have him for 2 years. I’m proud of his decision. I love and support him always! Please DM me if you want to be on his email list.

Bon voyage, que Dieu te protège. Nous t’aimons. by @matthammertime

I rarely post on Instagram anymore, it has really just become a tribute to Chrisi and my kids 😂 Today is @chrisihammer birthday and she needs to know how important she is to this world and to our family. She is the reason I have become who I am today, she is the reason I try to be better. She took me from the ashes and brought me more joy than I thought was possible. She loves our kids fiercely, she has unbelievable resilience and grit and determination. She lives life to the fullest, and inspires everyone around her. The Hammer🤍 family will forever be grateful she walked through my little basement apartment door, as a single man, trying to find a new life 15 years ago. Today, and everyday, we are fortunate to bask in her glow. Happy birthday!!! ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ by @matthammertime

A lot feelings of gratitude today for the one and only @chloebrockbank as she turns 17!😩 These two beautiful gals brought me in to their life 14 years ago and changed me forever. Chloe is ACTUALLY hilarious, smart, beautiful, incredibly independent, and an amazing daughter. Although untraditional, I am lucky to be called a dad. Happy birthday!🎂🎁 by @matthammertime

From Chrisi:

UVU will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s where I grew, learned, and built relationships that shaped my life.

Charlie Kirk also held a special place in my heart. Matt and I had the privilege of working closely with his organization several years ago and saw firsthand his conviction, his faith in God, and his commitment to principled leadership.

Every time we visited the TPUSA campus, our little Lucy would ask, “Are we going to Charlie Kirk’s house?” Of course she meant the headquarters, but from that day on, it’s been “Charlie Kirk’s house” in our family’s memory. That place and the work happening there left an imprint on all of us.

The horrific event that took place yesterday at my alma mater and in the city where I am raising my family has left me heartbroken. Utah is a beautiful state filled with outstanding citizens and neighbors who genuinely care for one another, which makes this tragedy even more difficult to process.

In moments like this I’m reminded of how Charlie lived: with faith, courage, and a willingness to engage in dialogue even with those who disagreed with him. We desperately need that kind of discourse again, to talk, to listen, and to find paths to bridge our differences.

My deepest love and prayers go to Erika and their children. May we honor Charlie’s legacy by striving for empathy, unity, and hope even when the world feels divided. by @matthammertime

Blending a family is never easy. 13 years ago we jumped straight in and never looked back. What started with 3 littles is now 5 bigs. They are an example to me of making the best of situations, loyalty, love, and friendship. Thick as thieves these guys. I am so far from perfect, and I have made many mistakes. Being their dad, fortunately, is not one of them. My greatest blessings. My heroes. My pals. Time slow down! @chrisihammer by @matthammertime

I can’t believe I’m saying @halliehammer_ is 19 today! I’m a mess. You are beautiful, strong, independent, funny, caring, and all the things this dad could possibly hope for. You are my hero! Love you forever and always. by @matthammertime
