I've recently been feeling a lot more comfortable with soloing and playing over vamps. It used to give me so much anxiety to have the spotlight, but I'm able to get out of my own way now and be present. I would overthink it and stumble. I still make mistakes (so many) and feel like I could've made better choices or tell a better story, but I am where I am, and I'm happy with it. Music is a lifelong pursuit for me, and I'm excited to keep growing.
