I flew to Windhoek as the only West African on the MTC Namibia Indaba stage.

And I refused to show up unprepared.

Before I said a single word to that room — 400 delegates, government officials, media, creatives, corporate leaders from 7 African countries — I studied Namibia. The politics. The economy. The creator economy. The national branding conversation. The energy deals being negotiated at the highest levels.

Because if I was going to talk about being Seen, Heard and Paid, I needed to speak to every person in that room in a language they recognised as their own.

The feedback said I did.

This is what preparation looks like when the stakes are high.
This is what it means to show up with intention.
This is what Seen, Heard & Paid looks like in practice.

The African visibility conversation belongs to all of us and this Indaba confirmed that to me. 🌍

POV: ‘Hey Gen Z’ became a physical gathering
Pushing through to get this done against all odds healed a certain part of me, to be very honest. This room was everything I had dreamt of and more!

Thank you Gen Zs for trusting me with your questions, emotions, time and company. Expect an email from me this week. Thank you to everyone who helped to birth this- partners, volunteers, influencers, morale givers.
