𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 ❤️

We’ve officially retired our beautiful Bluebelle .
She’s 25 , sound and happy .
Heartbreakingly outgrown by Violet but thankfully for her she’s with us for life!

We owe you so much to our darling Bluebelle , we practically rescued her from a horrible situation . She was 17 and had never seen a dentist , her teeth were in a horrific state and had been neglected by her owners.

She arrived terrified, ulcers and broken teeth and just a shell of herself .
Yet she trusted Violet and has always looked after her and kept her safe . We will forever be grateful 🙏

There’s not many Angel ponies like Bluebelle and she is so so cherished and loved .

Enjoy your retirement Bluebelle , we are so lucky to have you ❤️ she will continue to be spoilt and loved by us all x

PS - no Violet isn’t getting a new pony 😂

𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙗𝙮𝙚, 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 ❤️🥹

Today was one of the hardest days of my life , Pixie left for her new loan home 🏠

Despite it breaking my heart , she settled there immediately, like she had always been there 🥹
No running around, no calling out or stressing . Just chilled & head down scoffing 😂

She’s joined the most beautiful yard where she has sole turnout 24/7, a cozy stable in a new American barn, hacking straight onto the downs and situated between several amazing show centres.
Most importantly , her loaner is a super knowledgeable and experienced and loves a horse with spice & sass!
So they will do just fine together 😂

Seeing her so happy immediately made it that bit easier to leave her ❤️ Sometimes the hardest decisions are the right ones and I’ll always put her happiness first ❤️

Thank you for 7 amazing years Pixie, now to look after your next best friend and show them how incredible you are ❤️

𝙈𝙮 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 🥹❤️👑

The day we all prayed for 🥹
a year of investigations, a year of heartbreak, me getting poorly from the stress of it and a year of worry & tears from us all.

I promised her we would fix her…….

and we’ve done it 🥹🙌❤️

We’ve known for about 4 months now Pixie has been 100% after her full body injection, but I was so worried to put it up and for it to go wrong. As that’s horses isn’t it?

3 months of careful rehab and just look at her! Full of power & loving life! 🚀 🔥

Pixie was just 1/10th lame on a tight circle , had no change in performance , passed all flexions, X rays, MRI, thermal imaging etc.
No one could see it, but I knew she wasn’t right and could feel there was a weakness somewhere!
A lot of people thought I was imagining it and I was told by a previous vet to carry on, that perhaps this is just her way of going now.

If you ever have any doubt your horse isn’t right , go with your gut like I did. We owe it to our horses to be the best and do the best for them . Thankfully I know my Pixie inside out and I listened to her immediately.

The hugest thank you goes to my Mum, Dad & hubby who have supported me & Pixie through this , my amazing vet David Sinclair that’s got us here and didn’t give up on us or tell me I was mad!!
My wonderful friends that have been behind us throughout this tough year ❤️
Another thank you to the team that contributed to getting us here and keeping pixie so well, @sherrieleeequinemassage @elequineosteo @abbott_vet_physio @ponease_official @hmhaylage @redposteq @equine.flex ❤️
