Consider this my formal apology for oversharing Elana + Andrew’s wedding. There were simply too many good ones not to.

A beautiful summer day between The Pickering House Inn and the Swallow Boathouse on Lake Winnipesaukee. With flowers like that, a vintage Chris-Craft on the lake, late-summer light, and one hell of a party. *Literally my friends could hear it bumpin’ from their house a good half mile away.

Restraint was never really an option.

Still screaming.

The style, the colors, the people, the energy. A wedding that was incredibly beautiful without taking itself too seriously.

Dan + Austin, you’re simply the best and I’m so damn happy that I got to be there to celebrate you.

Choosing anything to share was next to impossible. So we’ll just start here… by @maxinecadmanphotography

Buckle up for the next 16 slides of me absolutely oversharing this stunner of a wedding.

Laura and Jordan somehow managed to create a celebration that felt both impossibly elegant and completely welcoming at the same time.

What made it even more special was the team behind it. Every detail felt intentional, every transition felt effortless, and every guest was genuinely cared for. A huge part of that was thanks to the incredible Lauren Wilson, who orchestrated the entire day with such grace, warmth, and professionalism. The Great Hall at Messina College deserves its own standing ovation. Not only is it one of the most visually stunning venues I’ve photographed, but their team went above and beyond all day long making sure both guests and vendors had everything they needed. It makes such a difference, and it did not go unnoticed.

Laura and Jordan, thank you for trusting me to document this chapter. Your joy is contagious, your people adore you, and I don’t think I’ll be over this one anytime soon. 🤍

A familiar landscape, reimagined for an October celebration. Alyssa & Mick transformed her family’s New Hampshire farm into something extraordinary. A sailcloth tent, layered textures, considered details, and the kind of autumn light that made everything feel a little cinematic. A beautiful balance of understated elegance and the unmistakable charm of celebrating at home.
I couldn’t put the last slide at the beginning because it didn’t feel right starting the story with the end, but keep swiping to see the evening unfold beneath a wide-open starry October sky.

A nor’easter, a wedding by the sea, and a whole lot of personality.

Molly & Derek’s day was proof that a little unpredictable weather can make for a pretty unforgettable celebration. Whimsy, windswept, wonderfully colorful, and filled with the kind of moments you couldn’t plan for if you tried. And then there was the sunset…

The nor’easter had other plans for Claire & Sam’s wedding weekend. But a few days later, we found ourselves back on the Cape, making the most of the windswept coast and a sunset that hardly seemed real.

And since the dress had already had its big day, we figured we might as well take it for a swim.

After Bill surprised Eloise with her dream proposal in Italy, she wanted to return the gesture in a place that held a little piece of his heart.
An autumn afternoon in Waterville Valley, a surprise of her own, and the mountains dressed in their October best.

The just-married kind of happy.

Two people that are happiest somewhere outside. A mountain range worth showing off. A pretty great reason to dress up.

Senior photos, but make them actually feel like you.

I loved the way this session unfolded. Having someone there who knows you so well changes the whole energy — there’s less thinking about what to do with your hands or whether you look awkward, and a lot more laughing, wandering around and just being yourself.

We took plenty of photos of them individually, but having each other there brought out something I don’t think I could have directed if I tried.

Maybe the secret to senior photos is just bringing someone who makes you forget you’re taking senior photos.

These flowers deserved a moment on the feed.

Sculptural, a little unexpected, and so full of color against all that deep summer green. Paired with a stunning bride, every angle felt like its own little piece of art.

Proof that you can go bold with florals and still have it feel completely timeless. by @maxinecadmanphotography
