a collection of spring flowers I accumulated over the past 2 months & a snippet from my diary 🌷📖

~06.04.2024~
I just love how flowers always heal something inside of me. It's nostalgia & beauty of life wrapped in a little bundle of petals. It makes my inner child sing with joy. Reliving all the memories of weaving flower crowns and setting up florist shops. Gifting intricate bouquets of wild flowers to friends and family. It's playing witch, making various potions in your little plastic outdoors kitchen. A rainbow with the sweetest scent calming your senses. It's a blessing to witness. It's happiness and it's healing my soul.💐👼🏼

Your love made me spill black ink over my soul,
Darkening the parts that shone brightly.
Your rejection helped me gather it and spill it on paper.
Watching it drip through my fingertips,
Creating a masterpiece.
And as the ink dried and the colour faded,
So too did our love...

Dear Kyle,

do you remember when you wrote this? You just got your heart broken by the most important person in your life. And in the process lost your best friend too. It was hard after that, you felt like everything ended. Like there was no hope, you felt lost and unlovable. You thought and hoped that this person would be your forever person. And then they were gone and sometimes when you go back to those times it still hurts. But over time you learnt that what happened was actually the best thing for you. You were too fixated, too dependant on them to bring you happiness. While you should have been looking inside for your own joy. So you slowly rose, dusted yourself off and continued on your journey of self-love, acceptance and worth. You made this your learning experience. You gathered the rejection and turned it into art. Let yourself be motivated by it. I'm always amazed how you face these things! How you fight and never give up! No matter what, you keep going, you keep falling and failing, but you keep on fighting. Never lose that.

Love,
Kyle🌿
