Happy Election Day, Lynn! by @mayornicholson

Last week, I had the opportunity to tour the construction of the new Boys and Girls Club Lynn. This stunning $26 million project will feature 30,000 sq./ft. For our City's young residents where they can enjoy a good meal, swim, play basketball and volleyball, act in a play, play a video game, relax with friends or so much more. The facility will also feature expanded classroom space for early childhood learning. Extremely grateful to Brian, Grace, and all the staff who have made this transformation possible. by @mayornicholson

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! ✨
Celebrando Mes de la Herencia Hispaña! by @mayornicholson

Earlier this week, I spoke with Attorney Jim Carrigan about all things City of Lynn: from the success of the Frederick Douglass Collegiate Academy model and the new Pickering Middle School, to housing challenges (+ wins!) and some of the work we have done on the waterfront through urban renewal and the South Harbor Implementation Plan!

I’m proud to celebrate the many Hispanic and Latino families, residents, workers, business owners and community leaders who call Lynn home.

Our city is stronger because of the diversity of the people who make up our community. Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate the rich cultures and traditions that make up our community, while recognizing the people who are helping build a stronger future for Lynn. Thank you to our Latino Change Agents for all that you contribute to our community!

🇮🇹 It was an honor to join Italian American community leaders to raise the Italian Flag. We celebrate their contributions to the community here in Lynn as we celebrate Italian- American Heritage Month!
