there is something special about making a drink for someone - that tiny, intimate moment where an experience is shared.

i started mazay ka matcha because i wanted to give others the same feeling i get when i make and sip my own matcha - joy.

as someone who is half pakistani and half indian, i’ve always loved how both south asian and japanese cultures cherish tea. for desi’s, chai is an everyday (if not 2-3 times a day) ritual - and for japanese people, matcha is a daily ritual as well. both cultures and practices are intentional, a point of connection, and full of meaning.

mazay ka matcha is my way of blending these 2 things i cherish - heritage and ritual, connection and comfort, all in one 12/16 ounce cup.

starting with small local pop-ups at markets, events, and weddings — and one day, inshAllah, my own little cafe.

excited to start this journey in north carolina after thinking about it for so many months. please dm or email mazaykamatcha@gmail.com for all inquiries. hope you get to experience mazay ka matcha at an event near you :)
