We finally made a stop in Tequila after driving by it a few times. We only stayed a couple of hours as a pit stop on the way home to Puerto Vallarta but definitely want to come back. . . . . #tequila #jalisco #pueblomagico #mexico #shotoniphone by @mbbc

We are having some work done to the house and the workers normally show up at 9:00am. Today, we were taken aback when the doorbell rang an hour early. I went out to open the gate and found this gentleman there instead of the normal work crew. Turned out he is someone the previous owner told us about. He was here to cut down the coconuts from the palm tree next to the driveway so that they wouldn’t fall and damage the car. Through my poor Spanish, I found out he’s been climbing and trimming palm trees, barefoot, for 43 years. His father taught him when he was 12. All he came with was a burlap sack which held an extra shirt, a water bottle, his baseball cap, a rope, and his machete wrapped in several layers of newspaper. His plan for today? Climb and trim 4-5 trees. . . . #puertovallarta #mexico #coco #palmtrees #tree by @mbbc
Downtown Puerto Vallarta turned into the finish line to an insane urban mountain bike course this weekend. Riders from ten different countries raced down from the city’s Mirador de la Cruz via trails, narrow stairways, and ramps all the way down to the Malecón. The last time this event took place was in 2019 and I was disappointed I wasn’t here to see it. Glad I didn’t miss it this time! I encourage you to checkout the videos of the course on @puertovallartadownhill ! . . . . #visitpuertovallarta #puertovallarta #mexico #downhill #freestyle by @mbbc
Throwback Thursday. I needed a SD card to do a firmware update to my camera so I pulled out an old card I’ve been carrying around in my laptop sleeve. Found this on there. The Zambezi River seen from Zimbabwe. September 2015. . . . . #canon20d #throwback #throwbackthursday by @mbbc
