Entered my first Fantasy Basketball League today and checked out my collection of cards…these are 42 of the 80 players who saw minutes in either the ABA or NBA. I’m slowly trying to get all 80. Was in the gym working with Mason and some young local players too. The season is almost here!!💯🏀❤️ by @mbrone7402

Now that Mason has graduated he’s going into the work world before he leaves for school in the fall. I’ve always told anyone who’ll listen to work in something they are passionate about. Mason LOVES basketball so he’s trying to follow my advice. He starts with his first clients this week. I’m letting others know that there are still some spots open and all the information is here to contact Mason. Please spread the word, too! TY. by @mbrone7402

Stopped in at The Corner Store to help wish Bert Schaffner a very happy 92nd birthday. Gary and I each had a Judee drink and Shelli Brone got a chocolate shake…they were both delicious! Caught up with the curator, Mike Adank and congratulated him on the new endeavor. Small business ownership isn’t easy but Mike has the energy, intelligence and passion to succeed at this…we’ll be up again soon!! Great Sunday!! by @mbrone7402

Awesome night for our family in the Russ Lund Gym! Mase was sick as a dog but sucked it up and helped his team to a nice victory over Westby. He did enough to go over the 1000 point mark and join an exclusive list of 9 others at the school who have earned the right to be on it. He’s the first with 500+ career assists. Thank you to all the coaches, players, fans, friends and family who’ve been involved in our lives along the way. Basketball and life are team games and you never reach your potential in either without having great people helping you along the way. Lots of season left to keep collecting stats and memories…Let the Good Times ROLL! 🏀❤️💙 by @mbrone7402

The speed of life! Start of senior year and start of first year with a million memories made in between! Here’s to the last being the BEST! Keep working hard towards all your goals, Mason Brone! ❤️ Shelli Brone Haili Brone by @mbrone7402

Simple pleasures…coffee, sourdough bread with lingonberry jelly and the 2025 Tour de France!! 21 days of one of my favorite sporting events…let the spectacle begin!! 🚴🏼‍♂️🇫🇷☕️ by @mbrone7402

Just finished! Highly recommend this book and not just because much of it is about my dad and me. It’s way more interesting than us two and if you’re looking how to make meaning from team sports and use those lessons to have a rewarding and enriching life then this has it for you! You can find it on Amazon…Or I can get you a copy if you’d like. https://a.co/d/hyiJsJn. by @mbrone7402

Wisconsin Playmakers NB P32 17u kicked off this past weekend with a 3-0 tune up at the Ice Breaker in The Sonnentag Center…home of the Eau Claire Blugolds. Looking forward to watching Mason and these boys hoop this AAU season! Photo Credits and graphics courtesy of Sara Warren Photography by @mbrone7402

While riding my bike through the park I came up behind this boat and had to speed up to try to get the driver to slow down and roll down his window. (It’s 20mph through the park). He did and we chatted briefly as he drove. I asked him if he’d pull into the next lot so I could take a photo or two of it. He agreed just up the road there was a wayside. He didn’t want his photo taken with it but he did give me plenty of history about it. He bought it in near perfect condition at an auction. Had been sitting covered in a barn for 20+ years. It’s a 1958 model. As the conversation progressed we figured out he’s an old customer of ours named Phillip and lives in Trempealeau. We chatted about 15 minutes and then I rode off. Sometimes just talking with people is all you need to find some extra happiness in the day…glad Phillip rolled down his window. by @mbrone7402

Fresh paint from Cindi the painter and the family is taking a stab at installing the new flooring throughout. Room one is almost done! (Much easier getting the old carpet, pad and linoleum out). Sweat equity in our next forever home… by @mbrone7402

It’s funny what you find when you start to uncover things you’ve put away which have become ‘obsolete’. This brought back memories to when I used to make cassette mixes which turned into CD mixes. The power of the ‘smarter than me’ phone has really accelerated technology changes. I’m happy to have discovered these because they sure brought back some great memories from my soundtrack of life! by @mbrone7402

Had a great lunch at the North End while catching up with Coach Bob Parker. He was my basketball coach at UWSP and we’ve kept in touch over the years. I used to go work his summer camps back when I coached HS. Lots of good times and happy to know he’s doing great in retirement. Learned some things about his playing career I didn’t know. Thanks Coach! Being a branch on your coaching tree means a lot to me. 💯🏀❤️ by @mbrone7402
