Happy Birthday, MARISSA aka MC 🎉 Today feels like the right moment to pause and say what often gets lost in the hustle. We see you. I see how challenging this journey has been—personally and professionally. The sleepless nights, the constant pressure, the moments of doubt, and yes… the many spirited debates about our future 😅. None of this has been easy, and it’s never been linear. What I appreciate most isn’t just your relentless drive or your vision—it’s your faith. Your consistent belief in my perspective, even when we didn’t always agree, has meant more than you probably realize. That trust matters. But beyond that, what you’ve built is bigger than a brand. You are literally opening doors for creatives—especially women—that many of us didn’t even know existed. You’re giving people permission to be artists, leaders, and owners of their craft. That platform is changing lives, quietly and loudly at the same time. For all of that, there’s really nothing else to say besides: Happy Birthday. From the top of my heart 🫡🖤—thank you. We thank you. Before the plates made it to Fashion Week, @mc_riss spent 12 days bringing them to life. 🎨 She hand-painted five oversized plates, giving each half a different design—ten in total. 5 plates. 10 completely different designs. 12 days of painting. 🎨 Created for Alice + Olivia’s NYFW Spring/Summer 2027 collection fashion show, each plate was split into two distinct designs — turning five plates into ten individual works of art. Inspired by Seletti’s iconic hybrid porcelain plates, @mc_riss brought her own hand-painted approach to every half, balancing completely different styles within a single piece.
