It’s time to celebrate… 🎉

For more than 30 years, one scholarship program has empowered young women throughout Southern Indiana through leadership, service, scholarship, and the opportunity to compete for Miss Indiana & Miss Indiana’s Teen.

Today, I am incredibly excited and honored to announce that this beloved local program is beginning a new chapter… Welcome to the Miss Heritage Celebration & Miss Heritage Celebration’s Teen Scholarship Organization!

This program has always been about more than a crown, and while this program has a new name, its heart remains the same. This next chapter will honor the rich heritage of our Southern Indiana community while creating a fresh identity that will continue serving young women for generations.

Our community has a long-standing tradition of gathering to celebrate local culture, arts, volunteerism, and the incredible people who call Southern Indiana home. This title will be a direct reflection of this hometown pride and collective community spirit. I am beyond excited to honor the legacy of the past while boldly embracing the future as the Executive Director of the Miss Heritage Celebration Scholarship Organization!

Registration for Miss Heritage Celebration & Miss Heritage Celebration’s Teen 2027 is OPEN NOW and can be found by clicking the link in my bio! Miss candidates living, working, or going to school in Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, and Washington counties are eligible to compete, while all Teen candidates are encouraged to register.

I hope everyone will join us on November 21st at Hazelwood Middle School as THE FIRST Miss Heritage Celebration & Miss Heritage Celebration’s Teen are crowned!

Whether you are interested in competing, sponsoring, volunteering, or cheering on our candidates, I can’t wait to welcome you into this exciting new chapter ✨🤍🎉

As many of you know, I have been deeply rooted in this local scholarship program for over a decade. I grew up performing throughout our community every fall, and served as Miss Harvest Homecoming’s Teen 2016 in addition to my many other local titles within the Miss America Opportunity. I now have the incredible privilege of helping lead this next by @meadowryann

Indiana, we have a winner ✨🤍🏁

KAYLA MYERS IS MISS NATIONAL SWEETHEART!!!!! Proud is such an understatement.

Kayla, all your hard work and dedication to serving and inspiring your community and state have now culminated in a glorious, beautiful celebration of growth, strength, and RISING above adversity to achieve your dreams! Walking alongside you as you came out of pageant retirement and embraced the preparation (& super quick turnaround time) of competing on the National Sweetheart stage is something I’ll never forget. I feel incredibly lucky to share in this sisterhood with you!

Hoopeston has now seen the very best Indiana has to offer 🤍 You’ve always shined while serving in Indiana, and now, you get to illuminate this national platform and show women across the country the transformative power of pageantry and the NSP. YOU DID IT!!!!!!

Hoopeston, as always, thank you for welcoming us Sweetheart alumni back as if we never left! There’s nothing I love more than Labor Day Weekend at the National Sweetcorn Festival 🌽✨🤍 See ya next year! by @meadowryann
