Creating a forest sanctuary - Healthy Homes & Regenerative Food Forests [ComingBackSoon]To build something magical ☁️ •

POSTS STORIES REELS

People often ask me how do I build Homes that honor our health and Wellbeing as well as our environment.
Designing with building biology in mind, using natural materials that are durable and beautiful.

I'm going to share everything I know in this hands-on experience coming up at the Sanctuary this year during the Internship/retreat. We will build, create, play and share life together during one month in a small community setting at the Sanctuary, while also explore the beautiful beaches and wonders of the region.

Let's imagine and create the world we dream about during these times of transformation. by @medicine.tree.sanctuary

So much AI on Pinterest these days, but with a few basic tools I turned some AI wooden shelves image into a real life clothes rack / shelves for the treehouse bedroom.

Comment the word, nah just kidding, comment whatever you want, I don't have anything for you, just wanted to share this little creative process with you. You can still leave a litol comment if you want to see more creative content ☺️

I didn't want to pay hundreds for something you can DIY at home for a couple dollars.

All you need is two natural ingredients, some sand paper, a brush, some gloves and voila, you are ready to turn your random clay pots into unique pieces.

No paint, non-toxic, perfect to keep your home healthy. by @medicine.tree.sanctuary

" How did you learn to build like this ? " I am often asked . Creativity is not a talent, it's an ability to play, allowing ourselves to experiment and make mistakes.

I taught myself how to build by searching online, thousands of hours of research, to understand the specific techniques that would match my vision. A lot of imagination, a willingness to play and make mistakes.

We all have a natural ability to use our hands to create things, but I believe it is only so if we do not let our mind come on the way of creation with fears and doubts. When we trust and surrender to the creative forces of life, creation flows through us effortlessly. by @medicine.tree.sanctuary

The future will be built the ancient way, with muddy hands and warm hearts. Our homes must reflect the harmony we wish to see in the world.

Natural homes are not just great for the Earth, they heal us. Their beauty is medicine for the Soul.

When we decide to build with natural materials, either it be a wish to live in harmony with our environment or for our health, it all reflects the Love & gratitude we hold for Life itself, it's sacredness.

That energy Is felt when you walk between these walls. Even more if the hands that built them are intentional in their work.

This is when it goes beyond the material, when each steps of the build becomes a prayer of gratitude, a thank you to the miracle of Life, your house turns into a Temple, reflecting the sacredness of this existence on Earth.

Of course, with intention any space can be made sacred, but the frequency of natural materials is the most harmonious, a coherence that might not be perceived consciously but that is deeply felt by our nervous system.

So let's get our hands muddy, and with warm hearts, build more natural homes 🤍

The future lies in the hands of Earth's ancient wisdom. May we listen to the Earth like our future depends on it, because an harmonious one surely does.

It's not necessarily obvious right away, but if you trust the process, it is magical what you can do with some Bamboo, a bit of mud and some Lime.

Natural materials that bring harmony to our living environments and support our health.

The bathroom of the Treehouse is almost complete, soon ready to welcome guests.

I am not a builder, I have no building background, but we are all artists, creators in the play of life, and this creative process of designing, engineering, and building this magical house with my own hands (and 🧠🤓) is truly fulfilling for the artist within me.

So go for it, do that thing you really want to do, even if everyone think you are crazy. Do it, you won't regret it, the experience is always worth it.

Stay tuned for Part 2 of the building recap
coming soon 🍃 by @medicine.tree.sanctuary

This is not to throw myself some flowers, but more so to say, that sometimes in life you just have to be a little crazy and do it anyway. Even when you don't really have a "how to do" plan for your dreams, just start, and watch the path and ressources appear before your eyes.

What is it that you've been dreaming about and thought you weren't ready yet ?
Do it. 🤍 by @medicine.tree.sanctuary

Softness is a divine place, a place of miracles from where your health and your dreams manifest.

The forest bring us back to that softness, a regulated nervous system, the gateway to the Sacred, a place of deep remembrance. It is how we access the Heart, intuition, creativity and grace.

" Manifestating " is such a trendy word these days, but a stressed nervous system and a bunch of affirmations will not bring you closer to the Manifestation of your full creative potential.

A calm nervous system will create the right soil for your health to thrive, and for your creative powers to bloom from the depth of your Soul.

It all starts at the roots of the nervous system, and the forest in its embrace, bring us back to that softness. by @medicine.tree.sanctuary

When It comes to find healing and integration deep at the root (nervous system), the right environment matters. The Forest, and our modern natural buildings, offer a unique environment designed to support your healing and recovery.

Here, deep in the forest, you will find a sanctuary.
Not for escape, but for remembering. by @medicine.tree.sanctuary
