Earlier in the week, I had the pleasure of visiting my brother, Bekolari Uthman Rufai, a comrade, boss, and friend, at his Point of Law office in Abuja with my team alongside Olalekan Bosede Point of Law Managing Partner. It was a refreshing opportunity to reconnect and reflect on our days of activism as a student as well as unionism days at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU). We reminisced about the struggles, challenges, sacrifices, and experiences that shaped our journey as student activists. Those were formative years, filled with lessons, difficult moments, and a shared desire to make a difference. I was particularly inspired by his journey into the legal profession. After several unsuccessful attempts, he refused to give up on his ambition. He eventually returned to the classroom to study Law as a second degree and went on to become a practising lawyer. His story speaks to the value of persistence, determination, and the courage to keep pursuing one’s goals despite setbacks. Our conversation also extended to Nigeria’s current political situation and the role young people must play in shaping the country’s future. We shared thoughts on the need for productive politics, constructive engagement, and active participation in governance. Young Nigerians must learn to engage in politics with ideas, purpose, and a genuine commitment to finding solutions rather than allowing bitterness and personal grievances to define their participation. Looking back, it is interesting to see how far we have come from those university days. The experiences remain part of our story, and the lessons continue to shape our understanding of leadership, public service, and nation-building. It was a pleasure reconnecting, sharing memories, and exchanging perspectives with a fellow comrade. Thank you, my brother, Tayo Uthman Beeko, for the warm reception and meaningful conversation. #IAmAdesina #MedullarConcept by @medullarconcept

Every meaningful step towards national development begins with a willingness to ask the right questions, challenge existing ideas, and explore new possibilities. For Nigeria, the conversations we have today must translate into policies, partnerships, and practical solutions that improve lives and create lasting economic opportunities. One thing I have come to appreciate is the value of meaningful conversations, especially those focused on Nigeria’s future and the opportunities we can create for our people. I had the pleasure of paying a courtesy visit to Dr. Tope Fasua, Special Adviser to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Economic Affairs, where we exchanged ideas on Nigeria’s economy, government policies, and the long-term effects of today’s decisions on the lives of Nigerians. Our discussion covered critical areas, including public-private partnerships, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, agriculture, and food production and distribution. These are sectors with significant potential to drive economic growth, create jobs, strengthen local industries, and improve livelihoods when supported by sound policies and effective collaboration. I believe building a better Nigeria requires us to move from conversations to practical action. It means asking the right questions, developing workable solutions, building strategic partnerships, and creating opportunities that deliver real value to our people. Nigeria’s progress is a collective responsibility. Government, the private sector, and individuals all have a role to play in shaping the future we desire. My sincere appreciation to Dr. Tope Fasua for the warm reception and the opportunity to engage in such an insightful discussion. I value the exchange of ideas and the shared commitment to exploring solutions that can contribute to Nigeria’s economic development. The Nigeria we envision will be shaped by the ideas we share, the partnerships we build, and the decisions we make today. #IAmAdesina #Nigeria #EconomicDevelopment #PublicPrivatePartnership #MedullarConcept by @medullarconcept
