Ichigotchi 🪡 Sweet progress shot of this hoop in the sunset light ☀️ I’ve always loved red and pinks and peaches together and this project was the perfect opportunity to lean into that over the top color story 🍓 I used to absolutely blast this song closing down at work in my 20s… it’s such a good one 😘 🎶 #tamagotchi #fanart #embroideryhoop #pdxart #grannyhobbies by @megan.nelson.art

I spy, with my little eye… 👁️ three hearts, one star, and _______ flowers 🌼 🤭 Solve the riddle… Find all the shapes and then *Comment the number of flowers and perhaps win a little prezzie 💝

Hand embroidered moon hoop 🌙 all materials thrifted secondhand ♻️ I really like the bright 🩷🧡💛 colors contrasting with the pearly softness of the button mosaic moon cup.

Happy weekend yall! by @megan.nelson.art

🍓 Ichigotchi 🪡 Handmade cutie in progress 🚨 Trying to sus out some joy and creative connection by posting on the grid again 🫡 Gave myself permission to use Insta like I used to back when it was fun and see where that takes me, or doesn’t. 😆 Still photo anyone? You don’t have to worry about aNyThiNg being AI over here 👈 We out here being cringe and freeeeeeee! #tamagotchi #grannyhobbies #handembroidered by @megan.nelson.art

Dump… or something. ❄️ Still thinking about those corn doggies… 🤤 #hellokittycollection #crochetallday by @megan.nelson.art

Tamagotchi nostalgia 🌟
Who knew that one day I would just… stop posting on the grid? I’ve become much more of a lurker, a reluctant participant and shy to share. I miss how IG used to feel, I miss making connections over art and food and creation.
Anyways. It’s been so long since I’ve done this, it feels like a space for videos and catchy songs and rage bait, I’m struggling to find my space. Perhaps that’s just a natural part of aging with a social media platform

That’s all. I felt like sharing something I’m working on - collaging was NOT on my 2025 bingo card, and yet slowing down to work with my hands and do something purely for my own enjoyment and fun was so healing. Heal me Ichigotchi 🍓 🙏 🪄 by @megan.nelson.art

These are by far the strangest doodles ✍️ such crazy clown fruit characters 🤡 sweeeeeeet 🍉 🍓 🍊The ☠️ seed eyes are so funny 🤣 #doodleart #pxdart #weirdart #portlandartist #artnight #clowncore #markerart by @megan.nelson.art

“What else is there?” This song always makes me want to dance and feel my feels. Is it still January?! It’s cheaper to scream sing this driving, than go to therapy 🤭 #pdxart #portlandart #watercolors #markerart #crying #bigsad #sadboi #femaleartist #rainbowart #2025 by @megan.nelson.art

Tuesdays. 🥲 #portlandartist #crying #pdxart #watercolorart #markerart #sadboi by @megan.nelson.art

Feeling a bit sad lately. 🖤 Looking towards the slow moments painting, birthday pinball hangs and cutie cat cuddles for glimmers of joy. Memes aside, January indeed feels three zillion days long already. How many months are in January again? You get it. 🖤 #sadboi #bigsad #cryingintheclub #catcuddles #newartwork #portlandartist #femaleartist #pdxart #january by @megan.nelson.art

Inktober day 23 🥦 Swipe to add rainbows if that’s your vibe. 🌈 Starting to feel better today from the dental work and BAM it’s time for cramps 💔 😭 #pdxart #portlandartist #broccoli #foodart #rainbows #penart #doodles #draweveryday #inktober #veggies #lethercook by @megan.nelson.art

Day 22 Inktober 🍇 I added some more pen detail to these and like them more now 🤗 That’s all for today ✌️ #foodart #drawingeveryday #pdxart #portlandart #handmade #makersgonamake #penart #grapes #inktober #tamagotchi by @megan.nelson.art
