MIXED DOUBLES TAMPA Holy crap! I started this hyrox journey back in April, and I can honestly say I’m so proud of how far I’ve come! And to be able to do this with my husband while our kids watched (thanks Josh!) will forever hold a place in my heart. When signing up, I thought since I’ve been doing hiit workouts for years that this couldn’t be that bad (boy was I wrong), but then I was told it’s a runners race so you definitely need to start running if you don’t already. I AM NOT A RUNNER!!! So I started running and that was the start of all these issues with my body I didn’t know about until then. Working thru all the injuries and weaknesses were challenging, but it’s definitely helped me learned a lot about my body and figure out what needed to be done in order to get stronger and ultimately be a better runner. I’ve worked SO HARD for months and it never got easier. Lots of ups and many MANY downs. This past Saturday we raced in Tampa and not only was I able to improve my time (with heavier weights), I was able to RUN THE ENTIRE TIME!!! Shout out to my knees and hips for being on my side that day and that’s a huge win for me. PB or not, I am so proud of us. It’s not over for me-Stay tuned for next year 🤪 by @megggyyy__

HYROX WASHINGTON DC 2026!! Wow what an experience I’ll never forget and I’m already looking forward to the next one! 🫣 did we meet our goal time? Sadly, no but that’s okay!!!! My DANG KNEE was not on my side but we pushed thru the runs and we did SO MUCH better at the stations we thought we would. Honestly the stations were probably the easiest (and my most favorite) part! Never thought I’d say this but the burpees were probably my favorite station 🥴 I also feared the wall balls but I made them my bitch that day lol Shoutout to @_erin_quinn___ for spectating and getting all the content. Thank you thank you thank you!!! #hyrox #hyroxdc2026 by @megggyyy__
