Our focus remains unchanged: the children we serve.

Please read our official statement. 🤍 by @meis.own

This experience reminds us that helping a community isn’t always about being physically present, but finding ways to work together and provide support with the resources we have.

Even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference, especially during difficult times. Whether it’s donating supplies, volunteering, or simply checking on others, every action matters.

At Mei’s Own, we believe everyone deserves support when they need it most. Because helping others isn’t just about what we give, but making sure no one is forgotten.#meisown #community #socialenterprise by @meis.own

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Mindanao, Philippines on June 8. In Purok Catapang, General Santos City, 29 families had their homes completely flattened.

Shoutout to Barangay Chairman Patricio Gelago and our ground team for making this happen so fast — aid is already in people’s hands, every donation goes straight to a family. There are 300 other families we are providing basic supplies too as well

Thank you for your support always! 🩷

413 families. That’s the number of families we helped in Brgy. Catapang — way beyond our original goal of 300. 🙏

This wouldn’t have been possible without Chairman Patricio Gelaga, his incredible team, and our dedicated volunteers. We coordinated every step from a distance, but the teamwork, late nights, and constant communication made it feel like we were right there with you.

To the families of Brgy. Catapang — we’ve seen your messages and they mean the world to us. Your smiles are why we do this. 💛

Thank you, Chairman Gelaga and team. Thank you to every volunteer. May God continue to bless you all.

With love,

A reminder: Believe in yourself and keep going. 🌸 by @meis.own

In the quiet hush of a sunlit afternoon, a simple wooden plate found its moment to shine. Once part of a living tree, it had stood through seasons of wind and rain, its grain shaped by time and patience. Now, in the gentle curve of its surface, those years whispered their story—rings of memory, swirls of resilience, and a warmth no factory could ever replicate.
Held in steady hands, the plate seemed almost alive, catching light like it remembered the sun from its days in the forest. It wasn’t just meant to hold food—it carried history. Every scratch it would one day earn, every meal it would cradle, would add another chapter.
And somewhere between the roots it once knew and the table it would soon belong to, the plate became more than an object—it became a quiet companion to everyday life, turning ordinary moments into something just a little more meaningful.

“Life isn’t measured by the days we pass, but by the moments we gather.” We’ve heard this quote on movies, read in books, and sometimes heard in songs..

But it’s usually around the table where stories unfold, laughter echoes, and connections grow deeper.

Just like the Daraga placemat, it helps bring warmth and intention to every setting, a reminder that even the simplest meals can become meaningful memories.
