From concept to reality - a 155 sqm bakery planned and designed as a warm, welcoming everyday destination. A combination of warm browns, terracotta tones and soft ligt greys meets natural oak to create a calm, comforting atmosphere that lets the pastries take center stage. The very high ceiling and windows enhances the sense of space and light, giving the bakery an airy, open feeling throughout the day. How do I see myself in 2024? Actually to write good things about myself is one of the hardest things to do. Most of us know why. We all have our obstacles and fall downs, and we also have a chance to do better for ourselves. I've been through rough times, arguments, disappointments, downfalls, accidents, a mean and painful divorce, mental abuse, betrayal and other stuff, like most people, especially women. In the end its how we jump back up from these downfalls and how we decide to continue with full confidence knowing that every obstacle is there to give us strength and help us grow. I know that when I look back at all that I've been through, I am thankful, because today I feel stronger, taller, more confident, wiser, and a lot more content and truly blessed of who and what I have become in this world. I'm a proud mother of 3 amazing children who are my pride and joy, a grandmother to a beautiful baby boy, my perfect partner who is everything I can wish for in a man. My successful interior design business which I built by myself, my wonderful friends (after ditching the ones who have no good in my life!) and I am thankful for everything and everyone who enters into my life because everyday is a new lesson to be learned, a chance to grow and to be blessed. This is my new profile picture which was taken by Einat Lahav who is a portrait photographer , an amazing new friend who I met on a photography course for architecture. Architectural photography is a new addition to my profession, something I've been wanting to learn for a long time. 2024 - Remember to look at yourself and appreciate where you were and what you have become, step out of your comfort zone now and again and check out what you learn and how you feel. Appreciate all what you have and what makes you happy. If there's something bothering you, figure it out and deal with it in a positive way. It will only eat you if you don't. Always remember that everything is temporary and quickly becomes history so don't dwell on unimportant stuff. Think positive and also remember to smile because when you smile you'll make other people smile. Goodbye 2023 and Happy New Year to you all for 2024!! by @melanie_kenan
