Where do I start? We were just kids when we met. I was 16 and you were 15, always a cigarette behind your ear and guitar in your hands. We would hang out with the group everyday after school by the "tree" , go to Rocky Ridge and play "groundies" and spend every weekend together either at the apartment or at the field. We would party till sunrise and laughed until we cried. We went on some pretty wild adventures together, some were not the brightest of ideas, but they made memories that I will cherish and remember forever. We woukd sit on the patio for hours drinking, telling stories, and how I miss our sing.a longs! You and your guitar, and my tone deaf ass singing for hours! Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Trevor Hall, Sublime, Mayday parade...and even some of our own. You were the biggest little brother that drove me crazy. You were one my best friends. As the years went on we grew apart but never to far away. We would randomly see eachother, and talk on the phone for hours, reminiscing on the good old days. You were broken, and the cracks never fully healed, but you always had a smile on your face, and lit up the room. Im sorry for not being there more often when I should of been, Im sorry that I allowed time to separate us, but I am so proud of you and what you accomplished these past few months. Your body gave up but your soul will live on forever! Zac I love you brother, abd no one can ever replace you and our special bond we had. Rest Easy Dear Friend, and may we see eachother soon again! Lost a great one! Play your guitar and sing your heart out for eternity! by @meldusa917
18 years ago I met this young tall handsome man at my work, he had the biggest chops and the cutest smile. He become a favorite regular, and my friend. We would go to abandoned slaughter houses with friends, go out to eat and just hang out. I had a huge crush on him but nothing really happened, and when I went to a different location we went our separate ways. About 10 years Iater I met this tall handsome man at my bar at the Poodle, he had long hair, a beard down to his chest and he caught my eye. He came right up to me to order a beer, and I asked for his ID and then realized it was him! It was Chris and the butterflies came fluttering back. He asked me out and we hit it off right away! I knew he was the one when I introduced him to my dog Ruger, and they become obsessed with eachother! 7 years later here we are, we have our home together, we have our fur babies, and so many fond memories! From camping, epic road trips, Disney, Universal, concerts, movie nights, dinner dates, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Rudys BBQ,and brain rotting on the couch together. We have had plenty of ups and downs, but in the end I wouldn't want to bicker, annoy or love anyone else! You came into my life when I was the loneliest I ever felt, and taught me love, patience, and how to be happy again. I always feel safe when Im with you, and as we navigate this life, Im so lucky to explore it with you! Happy Anniversary Baby Love! Thank you for being my best friend, partner in crime, and adventure buddy! I love you so much I cant stand it! Cheers baby! by @meldusa917

Just got back from being off the grid for the first time this summer! It was so nice to be disconnected from the outside world and just chill for two days straight. I absolutely love being away and hiding out with now my 3 favorite boys! Dr. Jones has some learning to do! All and all amazing vibes, good times, and away from it all are just what I needed! Camping this summer as many times as we can afford is on our list!! by @meldusa917

2015 Mel vs 2025 Mel 🥰 by @meldusa917
Another year has flown by! 2024 has been a life changing year! I ended 2023 depressed, jobless, and hopeless. On January 2nd, I started my new job at @plattpark, and I have never worked at a place where I have felt so much love and appreciation! I have made so many new wonderful friends that I consider family now. I had the honor of being the best woman in one of my besties weddings! Shout out to @starsloveyou and @feliciaesque, and I was able to witness the marriage of my perfect human @itshotnutinhere ! I went to some incredible shows this year and went to my favorite place, Disney Land . Had a blast camping, hiking, dancing, and making incredible memories. I celebrated 6 years with my life partner @artofpartying, and ended the year with one of my favorite shows ever, where I was able to have a reunion with all my friends from throughout the years! Cheers to 2024, I can't wait to see what adventures 2025 brings! Thank you to all who had made this year very special to me! 🥰 by @meldusa917

You make me feel safe and secure, and I will gladly grow old with you. You make me want to be the best version of myself. Thank you for all your love! Cheers to many more years to come! ❤️❤️ @artofpartying by @meldusa917
