I’m working late, cuz I’m a Lash Artist✨ I’m Melany!!! (the Mel in Meliz) I’m an Argentinian 🇦🇷 2nd generation Cosmetologist (in progress) and yes, hablo español!! I started lashing after getting my first certification at the end of 2019 when I was living in Spain 🇪🇸 (has any of you been there? If so, where?) I had done several certifications over the years mastering wherever I felt at the time my weaknesses was because I’m the kind of woman who has to be perfect on whatever she does. My mom taught me that “it takes the same amount of time to do things the right or the wrong way” so might as well do them right, right? I’m currently home based and I offer luxury and relaxing services related to Lashes, Brows, and Nails (currently learning body sculpture, facials and hairdressing as well) to anyone who believes that there can be the best of both worlds: the fitness and the beauty industry. These are my latest fav pictures of me at my first ever Lashie Awards from @thelashconference (10/12/2024) My hobbies are training, dancing, eating out at a new place, making great memories with people I love, and most importantly: watch sports (any @f1 girlies in here?) with my fur babies 🐶 close to me Do we have something in common? Leave a comment about it!! #BeautyinSports #MelizBeauty #inlandempirecosmetologist #Colton #Rialtolashes #riversidelashes by @meliz_beauty

My client came saying: "my eyebrows are different and I need help with them" We live in a busy area, nearby Downtown Riverside. Currently in construction area from Jurupa Valley. She booked a 5 hours experience A moment for herself to relax A moment to nap A moment to enjoy some peaceful music Phone on silent And let her body feel free for just a couple hours... Meanwhile... I was working my magic, doing some services to make her daily routine easier We did a consultation and agreed on the services and results expected to be done. First, I started doing a Podium Brow Set. This is the name to my Brow Lamination + Eyebrow Design (includes Symmetry Mapping) + Wax + Tint This service she needs to re-touch in ~8 weeks. And then we did a 3h full set lash extensions. We created a MegaVolume set with an intentional map to bring her eye sparkle to the max performance ✨ She's a new client, so we're still unsure on how the retention will come out, but my regulars are experiencing 4-5 weeks retention with my UV System from Evlo and they're recommended a 3hs appointment for 100% coverage and maximum retention rate. Both services are $220 with me (@Meliz_Beauty) Maintenance is $140 every ~4-6 weeks for lashes (3:30hs) and $80 every ~6-12 weeks for brows (~1:30h depending on hair thickness), and both time-frames depending on your hair growth. In girl math... For about $5.50 a day you can look ready everyday of the month, and this service is fully personalized to you. The results will be what you want. Cheaper than your Starbucks and you will love it. Invest in yourself 🩷 Have questions? Let me know how I can help you out ✨ No question is a dumb question 🥰 by @meliz_beauty
This was too funny to not do it. I used to watch Jim Carrey movies all the time as a kid because my brother absolutely adored him back then so I had to do it. I saw this from another creator but I can’t locate her account (unsure if her name will be shared since I used her template) but If you know her, please tag her to give her credit for the fun video. I will be sharing the full glambot in my personal account so you might see it there (@melanybm_ ) Hope you laughed as hard as I did 🫶🏻 Happy Thursday 🩷 (it’s almost the weekend!!) by @meliz_beauty

Guess who's idea was to take my first lash training? HERS 😅 My worst client ever is the reason behind my business name: She never books her appointment, always waits until 3 lashes are still glued to ask when her fill is due and she once returned her aftercare kit to me after 1 year because "she never used it" 😭 but I can't really complain... She's the reason why I am here being a 2nd Gen Licensed Cosmetologist I can only say: Thank you Mom! ☺️🩷 (The amount of learning experience I got from lashing her is insane!!! 😂 If her retention is good, I know everything is good lol) Side note: I'm trying to become better at sharing who I am and why I became a Lash Artist. The reality is that it's not easy when the path was such a storm over 10 years, but I hope this helps you know who I am a bit better. Thank you for supporting my business every day. Thank you for making both my dreams and my mom's sacrifices part of your daily routine. I came to this country with a goal to make my life better, and that cannot be achieved without having both you as my client and my mom as my first original mentor. 🩷 Check the last slide on ways to support my business for free 🩷 by @meliz_beauty
“Why do you charge what you charge?” Honestly? A few years ago, I wouldn’t have been able to give you a good answer. Today, as I get closer to my 7-year anniversary as a Lash Artist, I can. 🩷 My price isn’t just for the time you spend laying on my bed. It reflects: - the years of education - hands-on experience - product knowledge - chemistry knowledge - technique - continued training and MOST importantly: the responsibility that comes with working so closely around your eyes, skin, brows, and natural lashes. I’m a second-generation Licensed Cosmetologist. I grew up inside a beauty salon, surrounded by the industry and learning from my mom, who is a Cosmiatra with hospital residency training in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was 14 years old already trained in wax and old school lash perms (iykyk 🤢😂) What started in 2019 as a way to make extra income when I needed the most, became the profession I chose to build my career around. And I never stopped learning 🥰🩷 Today, my goal isn’t simply to give you the look you asked for. It’s to understand what will work best for YOU ✨ your anatomy, your natural lashes, your brows, and your desired result (while keeping the health of your natural hair and skin a priority.) ✨ Not sure which lash lift is right for you? Get a Drift Lami Lift: I can help you choose between a traditional or Korean lash lift based on your long term goals. ✨ Want lash extensions that actually fit your lifestyle? Get a Grand Prix Full Set and let’s create a customized set designed for your eyes and your natural lashes. ✨ Want your brows to look fuller, cleaner and more symmetrical? Get a Podium Brow Set: let’s build around what your brows actually need. The diplomas are hanging in my studio. The results are on my social media. The experience is in every appointment. So… why do I charge what I charge? Because you’re not only paying for the service. You’re investing in the person performing it for your results to be successful 🏁✨ Ready to experience the difference? 🔥Accepting new clients in Riverside area 📆 Book your appointment through the link in my bio or send a message for a by @meliz_beauty

I need to share this because I am so surprised. This is my very first time having a 2hs fill after 5 weeks and 2 days. Amazing work!✨ Full UV System from @evlolashco Halo Focus LED UV Light with the Halo Bolt adhesive which is a 0.5s cure. I absolutely love this glue because to me it feels really close to my traditional option, which is the Lash Alchemist from @lashboxla I actually still offer both traditional and UV adhesive at my studio. I think the industry provided options and we should use what’s best for our clients, so having 2 glues that work very similar is key to keep your workflow consistent. Anyways… this is just my opinion and not paid. Just sharing because I sincerely love the product and thought of sharing my honest review. Goodnight and may your blessings be as strong as these lashes 😂🩷 - Necesito compartir esto porque estoy anonada (sorprendida).
Client selfie! 🤳 My returning client got her Korean Lash Lift done after 10 WEEKS!!! Can you believe it? We did a M size in a Teardrop shield because her lashes goes downwards and I want to ensure she has a nice growth phase. Have you thought of Korean Lash Lift as your next lash service? Let me know in the comments what’s stopping you from it 🥲 - ¡Selfie de una clienta!
