Get friends who turn a quick stop into a full-on dress up moment ✨ @the_thrift_misfit showed up, played dress up, and reminded everyone that fashion is supposed to be fun. No pressure, no rules—just really good pieces and even better vibes. At The Edit, you don’t just shop… you try things on, you play, you hype each other up, and yeah—sometimes you leave feeling like a completely new version of yourself. Dress up is always welcomed. Honestly? It’s encouraged. 💫 #themelroseedit #secondhandstyle #phoenixvintage #shoplocalphx #phoenixaz by @melroseedit
One year ago, this was just an empty space with a very big dream attached to it. The Melrose Edit turns ONE, and watching these clips back feels a little surreal. From the space before it was mine, to renovation chaos, to the first racks going up, to the doors opening—and somehow, to what this place has become today. My husband built a fitting room. My uncle designed the logo. My friends helped me fill hangers, figure out inventory, build a POS system, and generally keep me from losing my mind. 🫪 And just about a year ago, so many of you gathered here to celebrate the grand opening. What started as dream has become a living, breathing, slightly overgrown closet full of secondhand fashion, vintage treasures, good people, and a whole lot of stories. I could not be more proud of what we’ve built over this first year—or more grateful for the growth, the lessons, the chaos, the creative freedom, and every person who has walked through these doors. If you’ve been in during year one: thank you for being part of the blood, sweat & tears. You helped make this place what it is. 🤍 And if we haven’t met yet… hi. Nice to meet you. 👋🏼 We look forward to welcoming you soon! The Melrose Edit - A curated collective of secondhand fashion, vintage finds & things worth keeping. 📍 Phoenix’s Melrose District 4628 N 7th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85013 Here’s to year two. I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one. ✨ #themelroseedit #phoenixvintage #shoplocalphx #phoenixcheck Secondhand fashion • vintage • small businesses • women owned • Phoenix • local • sustainable style by @melroseedit
One year of The Melrose Edit. ✨ What started as a pop-up market booth became a brick-and-mortar storefront. A risk became a reality. And somewhere along the way, the store grew—and so did I. This year asked a lot of me. I made mistakes. I took risks. I changed my mind. I made sacrifices. And I burned out. Not almost. Not maybe. I did. I learned that loving something deeply doesn’t mean I can do everything, all the time. Growth without intention can eventually cost more than it’s worth. I learned that making a dream bigger sometimes means surrendering a little of the way you imagined it. Trusting people. Creating better systems. Learning to say no. Letting go of some creative control. And making room for the business—and the person behind it—to breathe. The Melrose Edit 2.0 is that next version. More refined. More intentional. More focused. And reaching farther. TheMelroseEdit.com is the next chapter—a way to take the Edit with us, wherever you are. A bigger reach for the pieces I love, the stories they carry, and the belief that beautiful things deserve to be found, worn, collected, and loved again. Before I look ahead, I want to look around. At the customers who became friends. The friends who became part of this. The vendors, makers, neighbors and fellow small-business owners who welcomed me into this community. Everyone who shared a post, brought in a friend, bought a piece, encouraged me, or simply kept showing up. You are part of this. And to my husband and my girls—thank you for the space, patience and grace to let this dream take shape. For the sacrifices that don’t always make it into the photos, for the evenings and weekends, and for believing in something before I could fully see what it would become. This dream has never belonged to just me. I wouldn’t be standing here without you. 🤍 One year in. Still learning. Still dreaming. Still curating. And just getting started. Welcome to The Edit 2.0. Love these pieces from @newtglass that are hanging at the @melroseedit They add to the overall feeling of the store and add some interest in the lighting. Would you have a local glass blown artist make lighting for your home or business?! #azartist #azphotographer #interiorphotography #lightingfixture by @melroseedit

Rich in purpose, rich in secondhand treasures, and just a little delusional about how much I can fit into one day. 😎 Wife. Mom. Business owner. CEO of making shit happen. Building businesses, raising babies, loving my people, and somehow making it all work — one chaotic, beautiful day at a time. Turns out, the richest life is the one you build on your own terms. 🥂 #richinlife #womeninbusiness #Mompreneur #SmallBusinessOwner #phoenix by @melroseedit
A little something I like to call my Melrose morning. 🎃🥐🤎 A ridiculously good pumpkin pie bressane from my Melrose Edit neighbor @susspastries , a little time to slow down, and a soul-filling chat with my neighbor. Honestly, this was the kind of treat-yourself moment I didn’t know I needed today. Supporting small businesses is one thing, but when your neighbors are making things THIS good?! We have a situation. 😂 I’m already thinking about ordering 50 of these for Thanksgiving. No, I’m not kidding. Someone hold me back. 🍂 Go show my neighbor some love at @SussPastries. Your fall pastry era starts here. 🤎 #TheMelroseEdit #SussPastries #melrosedistrict #shopsmallphoenix #PhoenixFoodie by @melroseedit

As a Jersey girl now treasure hunting in the Arizona desert, I get ridiculously excited when I find little pieces of New Jersey history out here. 🤍 The box on this vintage wedding dress says Irvington, NJ, just 5–10 miles from Maplewood, where I was born. Talk about a little piece of home! I found this gown sitting in a garage at a house about to be gutted for renovation, and of course, I couldn’t leave it behind. Possibly handmade in the late ’70s to early ’80s, this wedding dress is a little mystery waiting to be unraveled. Who wore it? Was it made for a bride? And how did it end up all the way out here in Arizona? ✨ #VintageWeddingDress #vintagefinds #vintagephoenix #themelroseedit #phoenixcheck by @melroseedit
