Alhamdulillah, we mark two years of Mentminds, our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible journey that has shaped this community of learners, leaders, and changemakers. This moment takes us back to the voices that made this movement what it is today, our mentees and mentors, who generously shared their reflections, their experiences, and their personal transformations over the past two years. From overcoming challenges to discovering purpose, from building skills to stepping confidently into leadership, their stories remind us of the true power of intentional mentorship. Each testimony is a testament to growth, resilience, and the beauty of being guided while also learning to guide others. In just two years, Mentminds has become a beacon of empowerment a space where dreams are ignited, skills are nurtured, and confidence is built. And this is still only the beginning. In shaa Allah, in the years ahead, we will continue to touch millions of lives—spreading mentorship, empowerment, and hope across Africa and beyond. Take a moment to relive these powerful reflections with us. Because mentorship is more than a practice— it is a movement shaping futures, one mind at a time. by @ment.minds_

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria. 🇳🇬 But today, my heart is not completely at peace. While we celebrate the freedom of our nation, Nigerian children are still waiting to experience freedom themselves. It has been 139 days since children were abducted from Mussa in Askira-Uba, Borno State. Other students were later abducted from Lassa, also in Borno. These are not numbers. These are someone's children. Someone's little brother. Someone's little sister. Someone's entire world. They went to school to learn. They should have returned home to their families. Families have protested. Communities have cried out. Calls for their rescue have continued. And yet, they are still not home. Nigeria, how can we celebrate freedom while our children remain in captivity? I am not writing this to attack anyone. I am writing because silence cannot become normal. We need our children back. We need them home safely. We need our schools to be places of learning, not places where children fear for their lives. This Independence Day, let our greatest prayer be simple: BRING OUR CHILDREN HOME. 🇳🇬 When will Nigeria be free enough for every child to learn without fear? #bringbackourchildren #bringbackbornochildren #safeschoolsnigeria #independencedaynigeria #arewa by @ment.minds_

Honoured to be invited to speak at AI & Technology for the Next Generation on the topic:“The Next Technology Revolution: AI, Robotics, Automation & Beyond.” Organized by @whiteimpact_ng in collaboration with @ment.minds_ and Proclive Resources Limited This conversation is deeply personal to me. I shared the story behind why I started building technology solutions for farmers. I come from a family involved in farming, and I have seen firsthand the challenges farmers face every day. As a young innovator, I didn’t want to build technology simply for the sake of innovation. I wanted to build something meaningful — something that could support my father, his labourers, and the many farmers who work tirelessly to feed our communities. That personal experience became the motivation behind my journey into building solutions at the intersection of AI, agriculture, robotics, and technology. At @vorarobotics Ltd., we are working on building locally developed agricultural drones designed to help address real challenges in farming and make agricultural practices smarter, more efficient, and more accessible. I believe the next technology revolution should not only be about what machines can do, but about how technology can improve lives, empower communities, and solve real-world problems. Grateful to White Impact Initiative, in collaboration with Mentminds and Proclive Resources Limited, for creating this platform and bringing young innovators, thinkers, and changemakers together. The future is being built today — and I’m excited to be part of building it. We are not just waiting for the future. We are building it. by @ment.minds_
AI & Technology for the Next Generation Technology is shaping the way we learn, work, create, and solve problems. At our AI & Technology for the Next Generation programme, we are creating a space where young people can learn, explore, and build with technology. In this session, participants engaged practically with coding, website development, and digital design, learning directly and asking questions along the way. It is inspiring to see young minds exploring new skills and taking steps toward becoming creators, innovators, and problem-solvers. This is what the next generation should be about — learning, creating, and turning digital skills into real-world impact. Think It. Prompt It. Create It. #NextGeneration #DigitalSkills #YouthInnovation #Technology #WhiteImpactDevelopmentInitiative by @ment.minds_
