✨ Helping you live Above The Line
💙 7 years in the making | Launching 2026

POSTS STORIES REELS

This is Brutus - my 146-pound dream come true and the reason I learned to live above the line again. 🐕💙

When I was 7 years old, I saw my first Newfoundland dog and fell completely in love. I knew one day I'd have one - I just didn't know when.

Fast forward to 31... my partner and I finally moved into a place that allowed dogs. This was MY moment!

I didn't even pay half my rent that month 😅 I used ALL my tax return money to buy Brutus (my partner had to cover rent - sorry babe! 🤷‍♀️). He was part of my Christmas present to myself.

Here's the thing - I got Brutus right after a head concussion from a car accident. I'd lost my career and didn't want to be social or go outside the house. I was living completely below the line.

Brutus arrived December 2nd, and it was one of the best days of my life. Finally, a dream come true! ✨

But he became so much more than I ever imagined...

Brutus became my best friend. We went on walks, hikes, and to parks together. I started talking to people again because I HAD to - Brutus was too cute for people not to stop and say hi!

As he grew bigger and bigger, our bond grew stronger. He became attached to just me, and I to him. We have such a special love - he protects me at all costs, and I protect him when needed.

The love of a dog and the peace of feeling safe with your companion is something so special. Brutus helped me heal and helped me stay above the line.

Now my 146-pound gentle giant is almost 5 years old and still the most loving protector a momma could have. 🥰

Sometimes our healing comes in the most unexpected, furry packages.

What's been your unexpected source of healing? 💙

Not many people know this about me…
I was the very first Romanian baby adopted into Canada. 🇷🇴➡️🇨🇦

After my adoption, more children were finally allowed to come over, giving so many others the chance at a new life.

Even though my own adoption didn’t go exactly as planned and life had its challenges, I’m deeply grateful every single day. Had I stayed, my story might have looked very different… maybe much harder.

Instead, I grew up learning resilience, courage, and the power of facing hardships with grace. It’s been a journey with many chapters, but it all began with this one life-changing moment—and I wouldn’t change a thing about where I came from or who I’ve become. 💛

✨ Here’s to beginnings, even the messy ones.

💙 Why I became a mentor who's there for you at night when you need it most 🌙 ✨️

My story isn't pretty, but it's real. And it's why I'm here for you.🤍

Adopted from Romania at 6 months old. Almost died in a house fire at 5 years old. Foster care, homelessness at 16, aging out of the system alone. Those were my below-the-line years - surviving, not living.

The nights were the hardest. Lying awake at 13, 16, 20... wishing someone, anyone, understood what it felt like to carry so much pain alone. I would have given anything for someone to talk to during those sleepless 11 PM hours when the world went quiet, but my mind wouldn't.

But here's what I learned: I am not my past. I am who I choose to be.❤️‍🩹

Today, I'm a mom of two beautiful kids, I have the dog I dreamed of since I was 7, a home filled with love, and a business that means everything to me. I live above the line now.❤️‍🔥

My hardships became my superpower. Every struggle taught me something. Every dark night showed me how to find light. Every below-the-line moment prepared me to help others climb up.💙

That's why I'm here at 11 PM when you need someone. That's why I understand when you feel alone. That's why I believe in your transformation - because I've lived mine.

I've been there. I will be there for you.✨️

Your past doesn't define you. Your dreams can become reality. You can live above the line.✨️

Started Christmas decorating super early this year 🤣❄️

Pulled the snowmen out of the box, looked down and thought… hold on. What exactly did I order?? 😳 For one long second I was convinced I'd ordered a VERY different kind of blow-up snowman 💀 Plugged them in and nope, just three happy little guys roasting marshmallows. Totally knew that the whole time.

Real talk though. Growing up, Christmas was really quiet for me, so I mostly avoided it. Now I've got these beautiful kids who get just as excited as I do, and going all out (in November 🙈) just felt right this year 🤍☃️

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

Have the best weekend, friends. Quick little reminder: not every kid at your door will say "trick or treat." Some are shy, some don't talk, some are a little older, some just need an extra minute. Be kind to all of them. 🤍

Everyone deserves a fun night. Go enjoy it!

A little extra note while I'm off this week 🤍

If something comes up and you'd really like to talk, send me a DM. I'll let you know if I can make time for a call. I may not see messages right away, so if you're in immediate danger please call 911, or call or text 9-8-8 any time if you're in crisis.

And for Halloween: trick-or-treating looks different for everyone. If someone knocks, offer them candy, whatever their age and whether they're dressed up or not. A little kindness can make someone's whole night.

Stay safe, have a wonderful week, and happy Halloween! 🎃👻 I'll be back Monday, November 2.

Still learning to be okay alone. 🤍

Friday was loud, messy, and perfect. Zoo day with my littles and good friends, the kind of day that fills you all the way up.

And then the house goes quiet.

It still feels a little strange. But I'm learning that quiet isn't empty. It's room to rest, to breathe, and to make this place feel like home. 🏡

Save this for the weekend you need the reminder. 🤍

Single mom real talk 🤍

I love this life, and I wouldn't trade my kids for anything. But some days I'm finishing work in the middle of the chaos… or choosing sleep the second the house finally gets quiet.

I can't do everything, every day. I'm learning to do what I can, when I can. And that counts too.

If you're carrying a lot right now, you're not alone.

Not every boundary has to be a hard no.

Sometimes it's just grabbing your best friend (mine has four paws and sheds everywhere 🐾), stepping outside, and breathing for a minute before you go back to everything.

Okay, I'm curious… what's your go-to reset when you need a little space?

🌿 a walk outside
🚗 sitting in the car a few extra minutes
🛁 a hot shower or bath
🎧 headphones in, world out

Boundaries can make room for a calmer mind. 🌙

Space to breathe. To feel safe. To listen to yourself and honour what's right for your life.

Taking a quiet look inward can help you see whether a boundary is truly serving that purpose, and how you're communicating it to the people around you.

But at the heart of it all is your well-being. You deserve peace in your own life, too. 🤍

What's one thing that helps you feel calm when life gets loud? Tell me below 👇

I asked for personal space. Apparently everyone heard "family meeting." 🚽😂

Kids in attendance. Brutus supervising. Privacy still pending.

Kicking off our boundaries series with a little bathroom humour… the deeper stuff can wait for another day 🤍

Who's your bathroom audience: kids, pets, or BOTH? 👀

“We’ve got this” aged fast today. 😂

Everyone was up early, getting ready actually went smoothly, and we even had time for a morning fire. So much to be thankful for. 🤍🔥

Then childcare fell through, the park brought some big feelings, and the walk home… well, the recreation says it all. 😮‍💨

Still thankful. Very tired. Both can be true.

Tonight it’s kids first, one thing at a time, and no pressure to solve everything.

Tomorrow our boundaries mini-series begins: different needs, understanding each other, and protecting your peace. 🤍

Which one are you tonight: morning-fire energy or walk-home energy? 👇

(The evening scene is an AI recreation of our very real walk home. 😂)
