Good speakers have something to say. Great speakers know how to own the room, speak with confidence, and keep people listening till the last word. That’s the difference between MCs who are forgotten and those who get paid, get referrals, and get called back. MASTER THE MIC 2.0 by Mentorverse is 1 day of intensive, practical training to fix that. You will learn how to: • Command attention from your first 30 seconds • Structure your message so people actually remember it • Kill filler words, nerves and rambling for good • Speak to persuade, whether on stage, on camera, or in the boardroom This is for you if you are a presenter, MC, content creator, founder, coach, or you just know your speaking is costing you opportunities. Details: Saturday, 31st October 2026 | 9AM SME Hub, Gbagada Phase II, Lagos Physical: N150,000 | Early Bird: N120,000 | Virtual: N80,000 SME Hub is intentionally small. Once the physical seats are gone, it’s virtual only. And registration closes on the 29th. If you have been saying you will work on your speaking, this is your window. Lock your seat now. You speak everyday but the more you grow the more you realize that there is a science to effective communication. That speech you practiced sounds great when things go smoothly. But what happens when: • The teleprompter dies • The audience goes silent • You blank on the next speaker’s name • Nerves get the best of you That’s when you either look like a pro or... well, you know the rest of the story. 75% of speakers lose confidence the moment something goes wrong. It costs them gigs. It costs them premium rates. But there are 4 skills that change this. The best public speakers in Nigeria have them. Others just never learned them. We’re dropping the masterclass on these 4 skills Oct 31. ⏰ 10AM 📍 SME Hub, 22 Lanre Awolokun Street, Gbagada Phase II, Lagos 🔥 Early Bird: ₦120,000 | closes September 30 or while tickets last. 👑 VIP: ₦150,000 💻 Online: ₦80,000 (Link in bio for early bird access.) by @mentorverse.co

The popular phrase “Follow who know road” can be difficult to apply, especially when those you wish to follow fail to turn on their indicator light or “trafficate”, as we say, before making a sharp turn. It can be even more frustrating when they have luggage in their backseat and cannot truly carry you along. Finding a mentor can sometimes feel like trying to flag down someone in an exotic car, blazing down Third Mainland Bridge at 100mph. As someone who understands the impact of mentorship and the importance of pointing young talent in the right direction, so they can pursue their ambitions with clarity, gain the right knowledge and develop their full potential, I live for opportunities to connect, share and contribute my knowledge and experience. That is why I created Mentorverse. Master the Mic 2.0 gave us an opportunity to address some of the knowledge gaps in the Public Speaking and Event Hosting industry. It wouldn’t have been possible without the brilliance, generosity and willingness of my colleagues @osarogiee x @joycedamiels x @spiritofsaco x @isabellaadediji to share their knowledge and experience. If you need a MENTOR, don’t pass up the opportunity to learn from leaders in your desired industry whenever you get the chance. At Mentorverse, we’re building a platform to make that possible across the many industries that make up the creative economy. One masterclass at a time. by @mentorverse.co
