❤️‍🔥Excalibur 2025 , I Didn’t Just Prep I Survived.
#ClassicPhysique #ExcaliburShow2025

Prep isn’t just about the meals, training, and posing… it’s about what life throws at you along the way.

I went through it all:

💥 Week 1 – Popped ribs
🔥 Week 2 – Tore something in my inner thigh
⚡ Week 6 – Lower back began to give out
💔 Week 8 – Lost the woman I thought I’d build a life with.
+ along the way i lost “friends” who showed their true colors.

👤 Faced more solitude than support…

And yet… I. Never. Stopped.

My last prep?
I lost both of my grandmothers.
Back-to-back heartbreak. I had every reason to quit.

But I didn’t.
Because I knew something most don’t realize:

Goals don’t care about your heartbreak or the obstacles you face . Life & goals don’t pause for your pain.

It’ll keep moving with or without you , and that’s why I kept pushing. 💯

Every ounce of pain became fuel.
Every setback was a setup for the stage.

Swipe through to see what resilience looks like.
And if you’re going through it… I promise, there’s a warrior inside you too . You just have to unleash him or her.🛡️

Lifting heavier doesn’t always mean you’re getting better 📝

You could be making MORE progress without adding a single pound.

Sounds backward, right? 🤔

Most people chase heavier weights. But are you actually getting stronger, or just moving more weight? 🧠

There’s a difference and understanding it could change how you train.

So what really counts as progress? And when should you actually increase the weight? 📈

➡️ Swipe through before your next workout. You might be overlooking one of the most important parts of building muscle.

💾 Save this for your next training session.

💬 Be honest: Are you tracking your workouts, or just trying to lift heavier every week?

The best part of building a healthy lifestyle? It travels with you.

New city. Different views. Same commitment to myself. 🇨🇴

You might be training hard… but are you training hard enough to actually change? 👀

There’s a big difference between finishing a workout tired and giving your body a reason to adapt. 💪

And here’s where it gets interesting… 🧠

Some people are leaving progress on the table because they consistently stop too early.

Others think every set needs to absolutely destroy them. 😤

Neither tells the whole story.

Learning how to judge your effort can completely change the way you approach your training & most people aren’t nearly as good at judging it as they think. 🎯

So before you add another exercise, another set, or more weight…

Ask yourself one question:

🔥 How hard am I actually training?

➡️ Swipe through. You might look at your next working set differently.

💾 Save this before your next workout.
📲 Send it to someone who says they “train hard.”

And stay tuned… because once you understand effort, the next question becomes:

📈 How do you know if you’re actually progressing? 👀

Train with purpose. Make every rep count. 💪🔥

Physique update 📈

Still building. Still learning. Still finding ways to train smarter.

After 20 years of training, one thing I’ve learned is that progress isn’t always about doing more. It’s about getting more out of what you do.

Better execution. Better recovery. More intention.

The work continues, health and fitness is a never ending journey 🤝

What if doing MORE is actually the reason you’re not progressing?

More sets.
More exercises.
More time in the gym.

It’s easy to assume that if some work is good, more must be better.

But training doesn’t always work that way.

At some point, the question has to change from:

“How much can I do?”

to…

“How much of what I’m doing is actually moving me forward?”

That distinction can completely change the way you approach your workouts.

And it leads to an even bigger question that we’re going to tackle next. 👀

Sometimes happiness really is this simple. Fresh air, nature, and your furry best friend by your side.

No distractions. No rush. Just movement, good company, and a little perspective. 🌲🐾

NOT SORE? THAT DOESN’T ALWAYS MEAN YOU’RE FULLY RECOVERED.

Most of us have been taught to judge recovery by how we feel.

Not sore? Train.
Feeling good? Push harder.
Energy is back? Must be recovered.

But your body isn’t always that simple.

There’s another side of recovery that’s much easier to overlook &if you train consistently, it’s one worth understanding.

This is the final piece of the recovery puzzle. 🧩

Some places you visit. Others make you realize just how big this world really is. 🏜️

Standing inside one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, it’s pretty easy to understand why.

This was beginning of an unforgettable 3-day adventure into the Grand Canyon.

From watching the Arizona sunrise 🌅 to throwing on our packs and taking those first steps down into the canyon… every mile took us deeper into a completely different world.

About 10 miles one way just to reach our campground. 🎒🥾

No shortcuts. No easy way in. Just miles of canyon, incredible views, and that feeling of knowing the adventure was only getting started.

And somehow, the further down we went… the better it got. 🌊

This was only the beginning.
