Anyone who’s spent enough time in a cellar knows they aren’t always the brightest places to work…

Have you ever seen views like this from a tank room?! by @mercenary.premier

Not every wine project has the same finish line.

Bottles, cans, kegs, or bag-in-box. Different formats, different production requirements, and the flexibility to accommodate them.

At Mercenary Premier, packaging is part of the bigger picture. Our Edna Valley facility gives producers access to multiple packaging options alongside custom crush and wine production.

Meet Jason Fullmer and Josh Baker, the guys behind Mercenary Premier.

With decades of experience in the wine industry, they’ve spent plenty of time on production floors and know firsthand what it takes to bring a project from crush to packaging.

This experience is what shaped Mercenary Premier: a facility built around the needs of winemakers, with the equipment, infrastructure, and team to back it up. by @mercenary.premier

Not a bad place to make some wine.

Surrounded by vineyards in Edna Valley, in San Luis Obispo, our facility puts us right in the middle of California’s Central Coast wine industry.

It’s a pretty unique setting for a custom crush and co-packing facility, but for us, it makes sense to be doing this work in the region we’re proud to be part of. by @mercenary.premier

Our mobile counter pressure canning systems are built to maintain low dissolved oxygen and precise carbonation levels across all products.

With the Codi CCL-45 and Angelus CB50C, we can run products up to 4.0 volumes of CO2 at speeds up to 50 cans per minute, with inline mechanical seamers for consistent seam integrity.

Our mobile GAI 4033 REHP counterpressure monoblock is equipped with a 16-spout rinser/sparger and 20-spout filler, giving us the ability to package both still and sparkling beverages at pressures up to 5.0 atmospheres.

Our bottling truck supports in-line carbonation or filling from pre-carbonated brite tanks, with closure options ranging from cork to screw cap, ROPP, crown cap, and champagne cork with wire muselet.

Mercenary Premier was built to support wine projects beyond a single step in the production process.

From crush, fermentation, and cellar work to bulk storage, blending, packaging prep, and final package, our Edna Valley facility gives producers access to the infrastructure and production support needed under one roof. by @mercenary.premier

October means fruit is still coming through the doors while the cellar is already moving through fermentation, pressing, transfers, and everything in between.

Different lots. Different stages. A lot happening under one roof… just another day of harvest at Mercenary Premier! by @mercenary.premier

Decades in the wine industry taught us what matters on the production floor.
