POSTS STORIES REELS

Welcome, to my lovely new followers
and a fond hello to those of you who have been with me awhile, it means a great deal ♡

🌿 I'm Mia, artist & teacher.
Self-employment is a vulnerable path to choose, but it seems to suit me well.

🌿 I'm a Mom of one and
lover of walking, wildlife, seasons and moonlight. I Love to explore ways to celebrate all of these through drawing and painting.

🌿 I struggle massively with technology, bookkeeping and the awful things happening around the world as I write.

I'm bursting with ideas and inspiration for studio work and teaching work in 2024.
I'd like to thank everyone who has supported my work either with kind words, likes and shares and of course, those purchases that keep my little business running.

I'm so glad you're here ♡

Our shopfront panel is up @west.cork.collective in Ballinspittle, Kinsale, Ireland

All made right here in the gallery as customers and visitors wandered in and out ♡ Tree of Life painted in collaboration with @foxfoley.art, animals by me.

Our founder @karima.rebecca.powell.artist had a vision for our shopfront to be vibrant, to reflect the local environment, a reverence for nature and the values of our artist collective.
As above, so below

I’m So proud of the Watercolour students I teach once a week @westcorkcollective in Ballinspittle. Over the summer term, we looked at approaches to painting skies, lighthouses, reflections and more. I feel very lucky to be working with such a lovely, hardworking bunch of aspiring artists, and to see their amazing progress as it unfolds. We began our Autumn term this week 🍂 This class is sold out, but stay tuned for exciting news tomorrow about a second course I will be offering in Ballincollig end of Sept 👩🏻‍🎨🌟 by @miafoleyart

Height of summer getaway to the trees 🌿 Boots on, paintbrushes out. 4 days of quiet.. Outside outside. Blatantly inspiring 🌱 by @miafoleyart

Thanks to all the lovely participants who joined my Drawing Workshop yesterday @kinshipcork 🐦‍⬛
We studied the Linnet ~ a bird heard frequently around the EcoLab in Tramore Valley Park 🌱 Such a beautiful environment to teach in, look at that view! So many beautiful species of birds came and went as we worked along to the most vibrant birdsong. Thanks to the Kinship art project for this special invite 🌿 by @miafoleyart
