On December 14, 2025, I had the pleasure to work at my first pop-up shop for Black Art Matters. This was a really bittersweet day for me because I was at my father’s art show around this time last year, and now I am in his place. However, this was an excellent experience for me. I loved being around talented artists and creatives, and I can’t wait to do it again.

Thank you to Black Art Matters for hosting me and believing in my family’s vision to carry on my father’s legacy.

Thank you to my fantastic friends that assisted and supported me on Sunday. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without you all! by @mials.of.color

We are thrilled to announce that we are presenting and selling original paintings with custom frames and custom prints at our first pop up with Black Art Matters in Washington, DC! Black Art Matters is an organization that supports and promotes diverse Black artists and creatives. It will be on Sunday, December 14th from 1pm-8pm.
We hope to see you there!
