Monday Nov 14 will be a memory I will cherish forever. I competed in the 2022 Abu Dhabi Junior Worlds Championship and medalled Silver. I competed in a stacked bracket consisting of 20 competitors from all around the world.

It was my first international comp and the experience was amazing. Thank you @uaejjf for hosting such an incredible event 🙏🏼

Although I only got to settle with silver, I have learnt so much from this experience and I’m ready to come back next time and take gold.

Congratulations to my teammates and training partners @oli_2007 @bernardo_brothers_bjj @tyler_smesh @issa_issa04 for their amazing performances you guys push me to get better in the gym everyday!!

Thank you to my coaches @arieltabakbjj @hopebjj @william.bunn @joshbjj for always answering all my questions after class, and a special thanks to my beloved parents and @highrollers_jiujitsu for always supporting me and making this opportunity possible. 🙏🏼🫶🏼

And lastly thank you to all my family and friends for all your love and support 🙏🏼🫶🏼 by @micahshreds

This was my last day of training at @atosjiujitsuhq

What an experience. Grateful for every roll, every lesson, and every round that pushed me. 6 weeks getting to train and learn from some of the best guys in the world was unreal, truly next-level. The technique, the mindset, the work ethic… it’s something I’ll carry with me wherever I go.

Huge thanks to Professor @galvaobjj and all the coaches, teammates, and everyone who welcomed me like family. OSS 🥋💪🏼🫶🏼

Thank you also to @nicomaglicic for giving me this opportunity to train at Atos.

Had the incredible opportunity to meet one of the all-time greats, Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida at Atos HQ.

One of the GOATs in the game. Humble, focused and inspiring on and off the mats.

A true legend and one of the greatest to ever do it. Grateful for the moment.

Tonight marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. As I step into this new phase I’m reminded of how far I’ve come and how much this journey has shaped me. To my coaches, @nicomaglicic, @lobato_jiujitsu, and @tonysilvestro74 at @highrollers_jiujitsu, thank you for your belief in me, your guidance, and for always pushing me to be my best. To my teammates, training partners, friends, and family, your constant support has meant a lot to me.

Jiu Jitsu has not only taught me discipline and perseverance but has also given me a community of amazing people to grow and learn from. I am so grateful to have been surrounded by such passionate and dedicated individuals who inspire me every day. You all know who you are.

Here’s to this new chapter, to new challenges, and to continuing this journey with gratitude and determination. 💙 by @micahshreds
