To my best friend,
Jesus has given me four beautiful years with YOU!! I can't begin to explain how awed I am by you every single day. Time only gets sweeter the longer we're together. I love your smile, how the thought of your face makes me warm inside. You make me feel protected, you make me feel safe. You are the fearless and steady leader of our little family. I've been trying all day to understand how four years have passed already, it feels like we got married just yesterday. I waited and prayed a long time for you. Every day I wake up and am beyond thankful for our life together. It feels strange (in a good way,) to be this happy and content in life. From our hyper fixations to our inside jokes, being able to laugh at anything, talk and talk for hours, go on adventures, stay up late eating take out and watching our favorite shows, and just doing life together. Even the mundane feels special with you. They say the honeymoon stage passes, but I am more deeply in love with you--the whole of you--on your good days and bad days, at your best and at your worst--with each passing year. You've taught me so much. I've watched you grow into an even godlier man, and I see Jesus in you. In your gentleness, in your quiet strength. You balance out my crazy. (And there's a whole lot of crazy!) You've never judged me, you've always loved and accepted me just the way I am, no questions asked. I didn't think it was possible to find a love like this, but God knew I needed YOU. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but right here, with you, for eternity. Love you to the moon and back and back again, Philip. Happy four year anniversary to us!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

August--the end of an era. Nearly four years on the GA border, now moving back upstate with the love of my life and my fur babies. God DOES answer prayers! Do hard things, and believe in His promises, no matter how long the wait. I have so many conflicted emotions; we've built a beautiful life here. Now we are going back to the city where we met, the city that made me an honorary South Carolinian. It doesn't feel like going backwards, it's more like we are different people now, a little older, wiser, more seasoned. I think this move will be a new, great adventure, in a different way. I'm beyond excited to see how our lives will change and grow in this place that is so familiar, yet so different then when we left. I'm sitting right now on my front porch for one of the last times while my house is full of boxes and disassembled furniture. Crazy, scary, exciting. If I could have only seen last year where I'd be now. I guess that's the beauty of faith--we aren't meant to know. Here's to an--old--new chapter!

Long walks on the beach, coffee on the porch, reading all afternoon, breathtaking sunsets, and family. Edisto Island was exactly what my soul needed. 🌊🐚🩴👙

Here's to turning 35, winding mountain roads, springtime flowers, family, lots of coffee, walks by the river, and adventures with my love 🥾💕🌷

I can't begin to say in words what going back to Colorado (nearly a decade later!) meant to me, so I'll let this post do the talking. Beyond grateful to Jesus for these memories, from seeing the Phantom of the Opera for the first time, to visiting my beloved @windriverranch again, (best Easter ever!) staying in Denver and Estes Park, and sharing the majesty of the Rocky Mountains with my husband. My heart is so very full ⛰️❤️🥾

Gentle moments from our week in Southport. Grateful for family, good food, late nights, deep chats, Sundae finally meeting her "cousin" (aka the family dog), walks on the beach, and glorious sunsets. God is good, life is simple, my heart is full. Also, peep the Thanksgiving feast @philip_the_woodward and I made with my sisters!
