I used to be in front. Now I'm behind. (Fill in your own joke here.)

POSTS STORIES REELS

While most of you have never heard of me, I was in show business for almost 30 years. It's been a crazy bucket list of experiences along side unknowns and icons. On the eve of quitting in 2016, @posthillpress wanted the dish on good the bad and the ugly! I'm thrilled that it has now gone into reprint!! Over 40 icon stories!

I was a professional puppeteer/comedian for over 30 years. What I miss is being side by side with the people that co-create magic over and over! Plus they are hilarious. My cup overflowed this evening to give a squeeze to a few of my favorites that visited the East Coast of which I now reside.

It's difficult not to share an entire album of experiences, learnings, people. Some stories are better in person.

When I was a kid I never cared about the game. I only wanted to see the @philliephanatic ! And to have the opportunity to know the OG who started it all and changed the face of sports mascot characters @dave.raymond.speaks (and @themuppets designer/builder Bonnie Erickson) ... I become seven years old again every time.

Life has been challenging lately but when part of your week includes interviewing comedy writing legend, #BruceVillanch, and my favorite comedian-turned-actor, @kevinpollak123 , let's just say it's better than a large cup of coffee.

Yesterday I had the distinct pleasure of offering my take on the art and craft of impersonations, and the inspiration gained watching the living legend Rich Little. For you younger kids, Rich was the man. End of story…. when I was growing up getting to see him on a TV variety show or a late night show was such a thrill. He did something that wasn’t common. He was like a magician with his mouth, 🪄he made us laugh and go wow!! 🤩 He is still making audiences laugh, and I am beyond!!!!! humbled to have been asked by Michael Paul to participate in this upcoming documentary. (If you don’t know, Michael Paul, go check out his hilarious ventriloquist act on America’s got talent from a few years back. ) Thank you to the wonderful crew that was there at the Laugh Factory yesterday. I don’t know any of the details about when the documentary will be done, but I’m looking forward to the premiere. 🙏🙏🙏🙏Also, if you have read this far, I am really begging and asking everybody to follow me on YouTube as I am not posting on Instagram very much anymore. I still have my band page and I would love it if you followed SunshineDuoBand on here as well . But for comedy and voiceovers, I’m just gonna be posting to YouTube. :-) #richlittledocumentary #impersonations #theartandcraftofvoiceimpersonators @michaelpaullive @lastingimpressionfilm @sunshineduoband by @michaelpaullive

@themattfriend is what you get when someone is right where they're supposed to be. Prepared for the moment, executing his career with grace, skill, and that fire in the belly.

When you're invited to @tobenseymour 's bbq, you know there's gonna be producers, directors .... and puppets. Hard not to pick it up!

We missed crossing paths at @nbcsnl and @netflixisajoke ... So I really took a lot of pleasure in a fascinating conversation with @thedanacarvey on behalf of the Rich Little Documentary.

After the interview, he did a joke that's perhaps "inside baseball" that I took so much pleasure in, satirizing an impression of Rich Little who is really only known as the man of 1000 (other) voices. It's the vibrato and then the pause that tickles me.
