POSTS STORIES REELS

We are one!
When I visited the island of Barbados, on two occasions, I was told by Bajan citizens that I reminded them of their Prime Minister, the Honorable, Mia Amor Mottley. It prompted me to find out more about her. She is phenomenal, a leader the world could use more of. Many people enslaved in Barbados were transported to my hometown, Charleston against their will. Do you see a resemblance?

To the readers who asked if Barbados was mentioned in the book, Until the Sun Rises because of its connection to Rihanna? I love her music, but it was the Barbados-Charleston connection. #blackbookstagram #romancebooks #barbados #romanticsuspense #moorefamilysaga by @michelesims2123

Carly understood her heart’s assignment. Sometimes choosing yourself means refusing to settle for anything less than the love you truly want. “Don’t settle for what you have if it’s not what you want.”

BRBF Author Spotlight: Until the Sun Rises by @michelesims2123

Love survives...but secrets don't.

Mason and Carly Moore thought the hard part was over. They found their way back to each other. Built a life together. Started planning for a future that finally feels real. Then one decision changes everything. Someone from Mason's past refuses to accept reality. When pride turns to obsession and obsession turns deadly, the life Mason and Carly are building becomes a target. Every stranger could be a threat. Every shadow hides danger. And the closer they get to the future they've dreamed of, the more someone wants to destroy it.

Mason built his success on strategy and calculated risks. But protecting Carly from an enemy who operates without rules requires something else entirely. Something that tests not just their survival instincts but the bond they've fought so hard to rebuild. With the help of friends and family who refuse to let them face this alone, Mason and Carly must navigate a nightmare where love isn't just about feelings anymore. It's about sacrifice. Trust. And doing whatever it takes to make sure tomorrow actually comes.

Because some enemies don't just want revenge. They want to watch everything you love burn.
