Maybe turning 50 isn’t about getting older… maybe it’s about finally realizing how much life there is left to LIVE. ❤️

Our kids are growing up, life looks different, and we’re stepping into a chapter that looks nothing like the one before it.

And you know what? I’m here for it. The laughs, the memories, the girls’ nights, the shopping, the coffee, the quiet mornings, the spontaneous plans, and all the little things that make life good.

I’m not trying to be 25 again. I’m not trying to figure it all out. I’m just ready to enjoy THIS version of me.

Here’s to 50, to Gen X, to new chapters, and to making the most of the life we’re living right now.#genx #momlife #nextchapterbegins by @michelle.creates.life

Almost 50, but don’t let that fool you… because the music still hits, I still know all the words, and I will absolutely embarrass myself dancing around my living room like I’m 25. 😂💃

We’re from the generation that grew up making memories without documenting every second of it. We had the best music, the best memories, and stories that probably shouldn’t be repeated. 🤣

Now we’re raising (or have raised) our kids, working, juggling life, worrying about everybody, and somewhere along the way we’ve learned that being comfortable, having a good time, and enjoying the little things matter more than ever.

I’m heading into 50, and I’m not slowing down. I still love my music, my friends, shopping, drinks, appetizers, family time, and a good laugh.

Here’s to getting older but never losing that girl inside of us. ❤️

Gen X girls, tell me we’re not the only ones! 🎶😂#genx #midlife #realtalk by @michelle.creates.life

Monday mood: tired before the week even gets started 😂 Between running a home daycare, having grown kids, and getting closer to 50, I’m ready for my coffee and my couch! Anyone else? ☕️❤️

Work from home life! The kids are sleeping, I’ve got my favorite drink in hand, and I’m enjoying these few quiet minutes before the afternoon chaos begins. 😂

Now who’s else counting down to the weekend? What are your plans? Drop them below! ❤️#genx #momlife #realtalk #weekend #alani by @michelle.creates.life

It’s Friday, we’re not taking life too seriously today! 😂 A little dancing, a little laughing, and a whole lot of living. Getting older isn’t going to stop me from having fun. Who’s ready for the weekend? ❤️

At this stage of life, give me my drink, my couch, and some peace. 😂❤️ I have absolutely no time for drama!

Happy Wednesday! ☀️❤️

Working from home means some days I’m dressed in my pajamas or sweatpants before the first cup of coffee even kicks in. 😂

But lately, I’ve been trying to put a little outfit together, even if I’m just staying home with my daycare kids. Not for anyone else, but because sometimes getting dressed and feeling a little put together makes ME feel better!

No fancy office. No commute. Just me, the daycare, and trying to get my act together one outfit at a time. 😂❤️

Tell me I’m not the only one! 👇#genx #momlife #midlife #realtalk by @michelle.creates.life

Maybe this is what getting older is really about. Protecting your peace and enjoying the life you’ve worked so hard to build. ❤️ Anyone else?#genx #realtalk #midlife #momlife by @michelle.creates.life
