Episodio 07 - The Soulquarians & friends ♒️ . @microclima.radio in diretta stasera su @rbltorino dalle 21:00 alle 22:00. . The Soulquarians were an experimental Black music collective active during the late 1990s and early 2000s, initially formed by D’Angelo, Questlove, and J Dilla. The group expanded to include prominent artists such as Erykah Badu, Common, Mos Def, Q-Tip, Bilal, Roy Hargrove, James Poyser, Pino Palladino, and Talib Kweli, drawing inspiration from pioneering hip hop groups like A Tribe Called Quest and the Native Tongues collective. Renowned for blending neo soul, alternative hip hop, progressive soul, avant-garde, and jazz fusion, the members frequently collaborated on one another’s albums through extensive, innovative recording sessions held at New York City’s iconic Electric Lady Studios, resulting in a series of highly acclaimed records. by @microclima.radio

Episodio 05 - ALT ROCK 1.0 (NOISE SHADES) w/ @pallidacavtat LIVE SOLO ACOUSTIC (@vearginia ) 🎸 @microclima.radio in diretta stasera su @rbltorino dalle 21:00 alle 22:00 . Alternative rock is a genre of rock music that emerged from the independent music underground of the 1980s and became widely popular by the 1990s. The “alternative” definition refers to the genre’s distinction from mainstream rock music, expressed primarily in a distorted guitar sound, subversive and/or transgressive lyrics and generally a nonchalant, defiant attitude. . . Pics by @di.essee by @microclima.radio

Jazz-funk is a subgenre of jazz music characterized by a strong back beat (groove), electrified sounds and an early prevalence of analog synthesizers. The integration of funk, soul, and R&B music and styles into jazz resulted in the creation of a genre whose spectrum is quite wide and ranges from strong jazz improvisation to soul, funk or disco with jazz arrangements, jazz riffs, and jazz solos, and sometimes soul vocals. by @microclima.radio
