Presidential. #lfdoc by @mide_akinkugbe

The most eye opening realization about this campaign season is how many beautiful Aggies I met that I am not sure I would have come across if I chose not to campaign this season. God is so intentional about his children and all I can do is give him praise! It has been amazing to experience the depth, authenticity, and creativity this illustrious institution has to offer. The smiles, the laughs, the tiktoks, the reposts, the love, the support, the encouragement, the motivation, and the excellence- thank you Aggies.

To all the candidates, win, lose, or run-off. You deserve to be celebrated. You made it through an experience that is a double edged sword, as beautiful as campaigning can be, it can also be quite exhausting. You made it through criticism, you made it through judgement, you made it through doubt - You made it and that is a truth that no one can take away from you. It was a blessing to be in an environment of such determined leaders.

To my campaign team, to my village, to my community- Cazz, Vannah, Ja, Shemar, Gabi, Skye, Morgen, My NCSL family, My Hands of Home family, My AAC family, and everyone who showed support along the way - if it was not for your dedication to my dreams we would not be here. It will forever be war behind all of you, and I pray that I am able to celebrate any and all blessings and accomplishments with you all just as yall have done for me.

To my family - thank you all for speaking nothing but life into me, praying over me, and reconfirming the promises God made me.

Lastly - to my elected COBE Senators and fellow COBE scholars, let’s show everyone what C.O.B.E really is about- the students and their excellence, their dreams, their voices.
