Title: A Love That Speaks in Silence. Short manga scene inspired by “The Little Mermaid” by Hans Christian Andersen. by @midoriverse_

Title: 雪女 (“Snow Woman”). The concept of this project is inspired by the Japanese folklore of the Yuki Onna (雪女“snow woman”). This yōkai (spirit) story is that she can be seen during blizzard nights, always searching for someone warm to hug. She often hugs the children who disobey their parents and go outside to play, covering them with snow and freezing them to death. This is a popular folktale that most parents tell their children during winter; it serves to teach them a lesson to be careful on heavy snowy days. The Yuki Onna is known to have long black hair and her skin is pale like snow, which enhances the contrast with her hair. As a ghostly spirit, she does not have feet because this is how the Japanese usually depict this type of creature. by @midoriverse_
