quick lil dtiy thing for @studio_adore_ ‘s very exciting shoujo horror project, the changeling! really love the focus on west coast asian american history in the project and the overall horror direction so far : DD Bg song is from the karaoke vers. of the 1989 song kailan by smokey mountain!(aka my family’s go to karaoke song) +including a version with a vhs processing effect that i ended up not rly liking and some bts using blender to compose everything together yipppeee! #studioadore #adoredtiys #blender #yay by @mikalimon_

Expressions for Mercy, one of the characters in my current portfolio project! She’s a bit of a scrappy manic pixie skater girl-aka someone i would have found extremely cool as a kid lol #characterdesign #visdev by @mikalimon_
Another one of the five story beat illustrations for the portfolio, all part of this urban fantasy based around Filipino folklore👍 It was supa fun painting this one even though i had to start from scratch halfway through when i realized i had no idea what a forest looked like haha still thinking over whether i want to really commit to visdev-y things mostly cause i feel like it’s a steeper slope for me at least in what i need to learn and become proficient in but diving into these story illustrations has been very fun(for the most part lol) by @mikalimon_
