Felt scared, might puke later…

Taking a break from this app. The doom💀scrolling has gotten out of hand. by @mikeclimbs

Good times up in Bozeman last week! It was a great way to start off the winter climbing season and get to hangout in a new area, climb all kinds of new things and hang with some awesome friends new and old.

First day out swinging tools w/ mi hermano @michaelpedre in Bozeman, MT! Stoked to finally be checking out this venue. It’s been long overdue.

We explored Hyalite Canyon today and climbed on “The Astroid” and “The Comet” over on the East Fork. Super fun, but still quite lean it seems like. Swung my tools into rock many times. Good thing we brought a file!

Wonder what we’ll climb tomorrow?? by @mikeclimbs

Winter is coming…

Stoked to get the sharp things out again and start swinging them around. Also, stoked to find more sick metal. Seems like the right kind of music for winter climbing, no?

Want to go ice climbing with me this winter? DM me here! @mikeclimbs 🤘

Happy Birthday Mom!! You would have been 69 today. Sending you all the love and hugs I have! 💖 Miss you every fucking day!

Happiest of Birthdays to this guy! If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting this human, you’ll know instantly why he means so much to me. He’s quite literally my “brother from another mother”. The list of things that this guy has done for me would be infinite. My best friend, mentor, climbing partner, and partner in crime… Jefe I love you to the moon and back! Wishing you the best time on your birthday and wishing I could be spending it with you today. Stoked to link up with you here very soon! 🫶🙌💪 by @mikeclimbs

October 1st was my FIRST day back to guiding in almost an entire year. It was an incredible day out with an amazing team of guides from @sierramountainguides and a crew of top notch industry professionals from @patagonia. I feels wild to finally be back. I’ve been wondering what this moment would be like for a long time and wondered if it was even possible. But I can say with confidence that my mind, body and spirit are stronger than they have ever been, and I’m so incredibly grateful to all the friends and family that supported me along the way. I would not be here without each and every one of you. 🫶

The last time I felt nerves like the ones I’m feeling was riding shotgun with my buddy @chris_lorimer and a taxi driver I can’t remember the name of, looking at these mountains in real life for the first time…
