Big love to Mike Donis, truly an actor’s director. I’ve been lucky to work with Mike a few times this year now and I can honestly tell you, not many people can get me to rock a cowboy hat if it’s not on my way to a Beyonce concert but this dude can get the best out of me! Mike, thanks for being a gem to my soul whenever we get the good fortune of working together. Few directors invite you to play with the kind of freedom you lend me on every set the way you do, bond over creativity in between takes to share ideas, listen with mutual respect and learn from one another the way you and I do. The laughter, the stories, the common ground; criminally good and I’m here for it all!! As I always am sure to remind you behind the boogie, the fact you keep things moving with the crispness and quickness is a testament to your talent and efficiency, but what’s more? I’m SO Fng proud of your amazing career my friend!!!! OK so to the promo as I am currently filming @silverstars.2026 and am sooooooo late on this post - but if you’re a fan of the rom com, be sure to tune in to “Rodeo Christmas Romance” on the W Network and see what Mike cooked up as part of #CountdownToChristmas - oh and swipe aaaaaalll the way right to see a glimpse from Mike’s next project which just wrapped post which I was blessed enough to do some punch up writing on! Can’t wait for you all to see that one too as it stars a few of your favourites! A Rodeo Christmas with @beckyjhinch A special congrats to @yeslisamichelle on her spectacular run in The Lion King, and shout out to @peter_durst92 who I’ve worked with on over 15 projects and is now engaged!!!!! Congrats Peter! Over the moon for you and your lucky lady my friend! As well as Nataline, Beth and Nancy @natrkat @brainpowerstudio the Female Execs who somehow pull it all together, each and every time! See you all at the movies, everyone’s human happy place of fun, escape and joy! #staytuned for what Mike has up his sleeve next! #DirectorsLife #FilmCommunity #actors#writers #Gratitude #MikeDonis by @mikedonis
