Welcome to San Pedro 📸

All photos taken on my @fujifilmx_us X100V — my favorite travel camera of all time.

It’s small, high quality and easy to use. I catch so many amazing moments having this thing around my neck! I love that you can create your own recipes for it to customize your preset filters!

Wouldn’t travel without the little guy.

Belize City ➡️ San Pedro

We took a ferry from the mainland to the island of San Pedro (well kind of an island, it’s attached to Mexico). We had our golf cart rental company come pick us up and take us to our cutie Airbnb!

It’s more common to have a golf car for transportation than anything else, it’s actually so cool! We took a 30 drive to Secret beach just to check it out and see where we wanted to explore more the next day! We loved it and all the tables submerged in water. Truly magical!!!

On the way back we got food at Truck Stop and it was so so so good! It was a spontaneous stop but we found out that’s a popular place to eat!

You can see things on instagram but they still don’t compare to seeing it in person! You better Belize it!!! 😂

Belize is a dream 🇧🇿

Our first day we went inland to explore the Mayan ruins, learn more about the culture and see what city life is like on the mainland!

We saw howler monkeys, iguanas, and almost saw a crocodile! It was so cool, we had the ruins almost to ourselves!! No one else besides our group was there so we got to climb on them!

Stay tuned for day 2!

Happy Earth Day!🌱 we had the opportunity to clean up @candlestickpointsra to honor our planet 🌎

This year we really wanted to give back in some way & connect with local communities, thank to @noworriesamigohikingclub that was possible! What an incredible event! So many great people came together to clean up SF & make connections between different communities!

There were so many great sponsors— @rei @starbucks @ups just to name a few! And so many great booths showcasing what they’re passionate about!

We can’t wait to do more events like this one. I was so in the zone cleaning up, I didn’t get any videos—it was serious people! Hahaha. In all seriousness, giving back always feels so good. If you haven’t done any giving back lately, I’d encourage you to do something today for our earth! It needs us. 🍃

This place doesn’t feel real every time I watch this video. It’s real. It’s Switzerland. It’s stunning.

Life’s pretty great after all ✨

It’s so easy to get caught up in society’s expectations of you, especially being 30. I should be married. I should own a house. I should have kids. I should be getting Botox. I should have a 9-5. I should have my degree. I should be modest. I should be quiet. I should be so many things that other people have created for me. But instead…

I’m well-traveled. I’m growth minded & self-aware. I’m living on my own in an apartment. I’m working on loving myself first. I have my own business. I have my cosmetology license. I wear sunscreen. I change my style everyday. I’m out spoken & goofy.

There’s no real timeline that we’re supposed to be on. That’s all made up to get people to forget that they have free will and can literally do whatever they want. My timeline is exactly where I’m supposed to be & it’s leading me somewhere that I need to be. I will have a family & a house when the time comes. I trust that.

I’m pretty lucky. ❤️

The last day in Japan 🇯🇵

The culture, art and architecture is incredible. I had so much fun looking at all the small details and the thought that went into it all.

Until next time 🤍

Okay there will be many posts of Japan, I don’t want to leave out any pictures lol this is when it was my last day in Kyoto and I took a train back to Tokyo for this fancy dinner!

It was such a great experience, getting dressed in the traditional kimono. There’s so many things that go into it, also the woman that did my hair. Did an amazing up to in about five minutes! I was shook about that. I got to make traditional Japanese sweets and also learned how to properly make Matcha! That part was really cool.

When I was heading back, I was stuck in traffic and missed my train to go back to Tokyo! I was a little bit panicked, lol and couldn’t find my luggage in the luggage storage lockers. I put them in! But, I ended up making it just in time! And the food was absolutely incredible. Everything was so unique and had so many flavors. I’ve never tasted before.

that’s one thing I really love about traveling, is trying new things and getting to experience things you wouldn’t typically get to! Like all the 7-Eleven snacks?! It’s actually amazing food. That shocked me so much lol. All the food when traveling is just so much better than here in America. Not to be a downer or anything lol😂 it’s just quality over quantity everywhere else but here! It’s unfortunate.

Anyway stay tuned for more photos!!🤍

Change. How do you handle it?

As a person. As a business. As a community. As a planet. It’s happening all around us constantly.

The more we adapt, the more we peruse our passion, the better change will be. All we can do is keep moving and looking forward. Love you guys 🤍

I’m living now 🥹

I remember being a little kid, scared to do anything that I could fail at. Ballet class. Snowboarding. Wake boarding. Singing. You name it, I tried it, failed and stopped.

That manifested into me not wanting to do anything alone. If I’m not alone then I’m not the sole decision maker which takes away the pressure of failure.

I didn’t realize it at the time but I deeply depended on those around me—family, friends, or if I had a BF.

In 2020, I had so many realizations about myself. My shortcomings, my uncomfortable truths, my traumas. I needed to do something so out of my comfort zone that I could fail at. So I started planning a solo trip.

I decided to plan a trip where it started with my parents, solo for almost 2 months, ended with friends and a retreat. It was a soft enough launch and landing pad that the 2 months alone didn’t feel as scary. I knew I’d be getting there and coming back with people I trust.

It was the best decision of my life. I did fail. Quite a few times. But the failure led me to something else and allowed me to pivot. I had no other choice & I needed that.

This year, having the experience of one solo travel under my belt, I went on another trip! Started with a trip to Thailand for a retreat and then solo for 9 days in Japan.

It was a totally different experience. If I’m being honest, not a better experience. I had such bad anxiety & was overstimulated for most of the Japan trip. I was having a hard time enjoying myself. I didn’t feel relaxed but I did feel safe. It was weird contradictions happening the whole trip. I wanted to enjoy it. I wanted to feel what I felt the first time. And I did for small moments but nothing like Europe.

I want to say all this to acknowledge that growth has waves. Lately, I’ve been in my ‘I need to be in solitude to breathe’ era. I’m not so much into the crazy, wild party life anymore. I don’t drink or smoke. I just don’t like how I feel. I like being sober. I like being my true self.

So yeah, I’m going to try to post more of my memories, thoughts and feelings 💌 my love letters.
