We are incredibly honored to announce that Mila Welborn Racing is now officially sponsored by @kellymossinc . From the very beginning, @victoriathomasvt and the entire @kellymossinc family have gone out of their way to encourage Mila, support her dreams, and show her what it means to be unapologetically yourself in motorsports. They have taught her that being a young girl in a male-dominated sport is not a disadvantage—it’s a superpower. To be welcomed into an organization with such a rich history, incredible people, and a genuine commitment to empowering the next generation means more than words can express. Thank you, Kellymoss, for believing in Mila and for giving her another reason to dream even bigger. We are proud to represent your team both on and off the track, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds together. 💗🏁 #MilaWelbornRacing #Kellymoss #GirlsInMotorsports #FutureIsFemale #BeYourOwnHero by @milawelbornracing
Lots to Celebrate after Mila's First Race! - Had an absolute BLAST! - Beat her track PR by 2 Seconds - Won her first wheel-to-wheel battle - Showed some real courage staying in the throttle to make a few passes - Held her lines (even going 3 wide into a few turns with some faster karts) - Placed P6 overall And after a long day, she came off the track asking "Can we come do this race again?" Keeping a growth mindset, we have some things to work on, but we are def going to take some time and enjoy this awesome accomplishment! As always, thank you to our AMAZING Sponsors. 💕🏁 FLKC Rounds 5 & 6 | Bushnell Motorsports Park 🏁💕 This weekend was full of firsts and plenty of challenges for Mila! It was Mila’s first time racing a track with a bridge section, and she was SO excited to try it! But after a track walk with her coach @alexandersearle , nerves kicked in. She was worried about carrying all that momentum over the bridge and then having to slow the kart down for the hairpin on the other side. Thanks to some typical Florida weather 🌧️, the weekend was a constant battle of wets to slicks and back to wets again. The wet conditions even led to a difficult crash, leaving Dad scrambling to get the kart back together before the prefinal. But Mila kept pushing. And in the end, her biggest fear became her biggest strength. 💪 She made nearly all of her passes on the bridge - including a dive to the inside of the hairpin afterward! Finished P6 Sunday crossing the line just 2 tenths behind p5. Sometimes, the thing that scares you the most becomes the thing that makes you stronger. 💕🏁💕🏁💕 #MilaWelborn #MilaWelbornRacing #FLKC #BeYourOwnHero by @milawelbornracing
