Proud to say the team was successful on their summit attempt for Kilimanjaro. It’s been an amazing experience and journey. Introducing the team behind Miles to Miracles: Nathan, Will, Jack, Luke, Jalen, Sean, Zach, Jarred, Andrew, and David, a group of ten friends from all over the US, united by adventure and driven by purpose.

The team is coming together for this project from Texas, Oklahoma, California, and North Carolina. They became friends while attending the University of Oklahoma. Each of us brings different backgrounds and interests, from photographers and sports fans to future doctors and globe-trotters. We have a shared purpose and commitment to doing hard things for a greater cause. We’re proud to partner with Salood and help support the real fighters: kids battling cancer and the families who stand beside them.

Over the next four months, they are taking on the Hawai’i IRONMAN and Mount Kilimanjaro to raise $50,000 for families facing pediatric cancer.

This journey is about more than the miles. It’s about making them matter.

We’re proud to officially launch Miles to Miracles, a movement powered by ten friends united by one purpose: to fight pediatric cancer through action, endurance, and impact.

Our Mission:

The number of families in need of financial support continues to grow, as childhood cancer remains a heartbreaking reality. Each year, almost 16,000 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer. Over the next five months, we’re raising $50,000 for @saloodinc , a Dallas-based nonprofit that supports families of children battling cancer. Salood helps alleviate the financial burden that comes with a pediatric cancer diagnosis—so families can focus on what matters most.

The Journey:

This campaign begins with the Hawaii IRONMAN 70.3 on May 31, where three of our team members will take on a grueling swim, bike, and run across Kona.
In August, all ten of us will come together to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest free-standing mountain in the world.
We’re pushing our physical and mental limits, but it’s nothing compared to the daily battles faced by the children and families we’re supporting. This effort is for them.

Tomorrow, the @miles2miracles crew boards a 20-hour+ flight to Africa to take on Mount Kilimanjaro — the highest mountain on the continent.

It’s an 8-day grind to the top. No shortcuts. No easy way out. Just grit, endurance, and heart.

We’re proud of this team for stepping up to the challenge and pushing limits for a cause bigger than themselves.
