Life lately 🤍 No medical episodes in what feels like forever (so thankful!), lots of sweet memories made with family and friends, beach days, and a road trip through 6 states before knee surgery! Surgery is done, and now I’m resting, healing, and looking forward to a future with less pain! Thankful for this season and everyone who’s been by my side! 🫶✨ by @miles_smiles4

Third week of summer, and we just got back from a fun family beach trip! My TAK and lupus is still stable! I haven’t had a paralysis episode since February! So, so thankful! This time last year my Lupus was so bad I struggled to sleep at night and walk. My club volleyball team has Nationals coming up, and I so hope my knee is good and ready for it! I have been working hard at PT! I absolutely love these girls and can’t wait for our last tournament! by @miles_smiles4

Life Update:
The last couple of weeks have been sooo crazy and fun! lol! To start, I have thankfully not had an episode for a couple of months! So, so thankful for no dizziness and paralysis! Right before school ended I got to go to my first prom with the sweetest boy and the best group! Then in a freak situation, I ended up dislocating my knee! I’ve started PT and it’s going well! Hoping to be back to volleyball soon! Club volleyball season is going great! The girls are soo sweet! I can’t wait for the rest of summer! by @miles_smiles4

Volleyball is in full swing! Mom and I were in Indianapolis this weekend, competing in the Nike Qualifier! Got back late last night, but made it for the early morning infusion at Vanderbilt! So thankful that all my levels are in the green! by @miles_smiles4

Telehealth Rheumatology appointment today because of the snow! This is when you know you have a long term relationship with Children’s Vanderbilt. 😜 #takayasusarteritis #childrensvanderbilt #lupus by @miles_smiles4

Happy 2025! We have had a few weeks off from doctor’s appointments, and it has been so nice. Today, mom booked the morning at my holistic doctor and the afternoon at Children’s Vanderbilt. Thankful for sunshine today, a new parasite cleanse to try, and a quiet infusion/chemo office. by @miles_smiles4
