POSTS STORIES REELS
Since we opened our doors, we have made it our mission to not only serve sweet treats but also our community. From @communitiesinschools in 2018 to @mytown_miracles for the last couple of years, and organizations like @stjude, @jayuiberallfoundation, @bigheartfund, and the Arkansas Chapter of the ALS Association in the years between, it’s has been such an honor to play a small part in raising funds and awareness about the importance of these programs. While we might be closing our doors, we wanted to shine a spotlight on them while it’s on us. Check out their pages, their missions, and if you feel compelled, donate and volunteer with one of them! 🫶 P. S. We’ll be sharing more #MDBMems in the weeks to come! by @milkdessertbar
Memphis, thank you for letting us be part of your celebrations, your ordinary Wednesdays, your late-night cravings, and your special moments. We’ve still got bills and employees to pay, so if want to get one last Unicorn or Monster shake or Signature Cake or place a holiday preorder, our last day open is December 23rd. by @milkdessertbar
Countdown to our LAST DAY of business ⌛️ We will be open Wednesday, 12/17 - Tuesday, 12/23, and then that’s it, pals. 😭 If you haven’t made plans to come visit already, this is your final chance. If you are coming to visit, please note that we are operating on a “what we have is all we have” schedule. So, if you don’t see your favorites, we’re sorry! For custom orders, we are ONLY offering extremely simple cakes and flavors. You can find them on our website. We appreciate your support, patience, and kindness as we approach the end of this chapter. 🤍 by @milkdessertbar
The Gift Guide fatigue is real. Give the people in your life what they really want: sweet treats. Shop these items in-store or find more online! P. S. You have 10 days left to get your MDB fix 😬🙈 by @milkdessertbar
While management roles have almost always been filled by ownership, we have taken so much pride in the staff we have hired to help serve YOU, and they deserve a shoutout with a capital S. Since 2018, we’ve hired over 60 employees - most of which have been teens! They’ve come from all backgrounds and walks of life, but they have always had a few things in common: their drive, willingness to learn, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. It has been an absolute joy and privilege to be a place where they know they can be themselves, make friends, and receive support and encouragement. We looked forward to working alongside them every single day, and when the time inevitably came, sending them off on their next grand adventure - whether it was college, grad school, or a new work opportunity. We will miss seeing our staff, both current and former, and being a place that provided opportunities and resources to kids in our community. We are grateful for them, and we are even more grateful for the trust their parents instilled in us to lead, teach, and support their children. And to you, Memphis, thank you for always being kind and patient with them! We all began somewhere, and for them, it will always be MDB. 🤍 by @milkdessertbar
OUR LAST HOLIDAY MENU EVER IS LIVE!! Everything can be purchased on our website 24/7. Preorder pick up is on our last day, 12/23 from 11-5. Please help us go out with a bang! Thanks! We love you! Bye! by @milkdessertbar
Y’all have 20 days (but not even 20 full days bc we’re closed on Mondays/Tuesdays) to enjoy MDB! Come say goodbye, stock up on goods, tell us your favorite memory, etc. Just come and see us! 🤍 by @milkdessertbar
Holiday Season has always been one of our favorites because it’s been a time when we could flex our creativity muscles and create something outside of the box! A few years ago, we created this entire Monster Cake menu PLUS a traditional Halloween menu, and it was a complete flop 🤣 we didn’t get a single order for any of the monster cakes. We were both confused and disappointed, so we’re gonna give them their moment one last time because they deserve it. We’re also gonna revisit everyone’s favorite - HP Weekend, which we stopped doing after we learned a bakery in Ohio had been sued by WB Studios for doing their own version of this type of event. Soooo local bakeries and restaurants, beware. 👀 The other two images are of OG items - Vampire Hot Chocolate and a Witches’s Brew milkshake. More Halloween flops, but super fun to come up with and test. No regrets, only learning opportunities. 🤍 AND FINALLY, we’ll be bringing back ALL of the Christmas goodies this holiday season as soon as Thanksgiving is over, so y’all get ready for that! LITTLE MDB SZN IS ALMOST HERE. by @milkdessertbar
We have released our largest Thanksgiving menu yet. It’s a combination of everything we’ve done + your favorites over the years, and you can find all of it on our website. Please consider getting your goods from us. It’s the last time you’ll be able to after all.😩🥲 You have until Sunday, 11/23 to place your order! 🥧 Everything can be purchased online 🫶🫶 by @milkdessertbar
This is Christmas in My Town. Laughter. Hot Cocoa. Gifts. Superheroes. Hugs. — and Memphis families reminded they are seen, valued, and loved unconditionally. Every December 23rd, The Christmas Initiative brings our city together —  to make sure children wake up to joy and parents breathe a little easier.   Last year, 317 children celebrated Christmas morning with full hearts— because of you. This year marks our 6th annual celebration, and we need your help to make it happen: 🎁 350 wishlists waiting to be fulfilled. 💫 Event sponsors are needed to fill the room with love. When Memphis shows up, Miracles happen. Be the Miracle that makes Christmas morning brighter for a Memphis child. Be part of our joy. Be part of our story. Oh, hiiii. Did we make a big announcement or something? 🙈 All jokes aside, thank you so much for your support and kind words and for sharing all of your memories with us both in-person and in our DMs and comments. We promise we are just as heartbroken and sad as you are. This place has been like a second home to us. 😭💔 With that being said, we have released our largest Thanksgiving menu yet. It’s a combination of everything we’ve done + your favorites over the years, and you can find all of it on our website. Please consider getting your goods from us. It’s the last time you’ll be able to after all.😩🥲 by @milkdessertbar
