* this is from the 20teenz, not an upcoming show pinning because it was my proudest graphic design moment for advertising a diy show and I love looking at it.* 😉Saturday January 13th 6-9 pm Hartford Artspace pop up show ‘intimacy cinnamons and antelopes’ more info to come by @milkylumps
Update: studio mates found and studio secured. Pinning this because I’m trying to make work again and this is an easy way of referencing the type of work I did 6 + years ago. These pictures obviously don’t show the whole work still, so I’ll either post the pics I use to use for my site soon, or redo the site? Do ppl still look at websites. I do, but do other ppl? Suggestions welcome. Do I know any artists in the new Britain area looking to share a warehouse studio space? Me and Angie Godoy are looking for spaces since losing our studio due to a change in building ownership back in September of last year, and we might have a couple leads but would need to share with one or two more people that could commit to at least a year. Preferably someone we know and trust obviously! Also, the cost of our storage units went up, so now’s the time lol. Pics of the work I used to make so ppl actually see this hopefully by @milkylumps

Did a photoshoot with my handmade clothes during lunch. This is my most recent: the Polo dress pattern by @eleanorstieva (pics from her page in middle). I love it so much, super easy and quick pattern. I think I’m going to print on the long sleeve portion, I’m not sure what yet. Second hand viscose linen blend from Americana fabrics in Rocky hill. Shoutout my janky projector setup in the last slide. by @milkylumps

Help wanted is tomorrow! Spread the word. Please come even if you can’t support financially your vibes will sustain us. Saturday June 27th 2026 12-5 1429 Park st Hartford CT Also re zine tutorial: it’s called DIY for a reason, respectfully. I search how to do it on the internet every time, I don’t know what I’m doing! Anything that is a lil book is a zine, any way you can do that is how it’s done. The main thing I look up is how to fold the dang paper, so here’s a tutorial on that, I think. For making the imagery- I think what a lot of people are looking for is how to DESIGN a zine- digitally requires something like photoshop or gimp (free) or probably canva, any where you can divide things up and orient them to match the layout I show in this reel. Maybe even Google Docs. OR if you don’t have that and you have a camera or a scanner, you can collage like I did. Having a color printer helps with that but you could feasibly do something with magazine clippings and hand drawings as well. by @milkylumps

Buy* local knicks merch? For Help Wanted art sale/fundraiser Saturday June 27th 12-5 @knowgoodmarket by @milkylumps
I brought home a couple of the prints @anchiiiiiiiiiiiii will have for sale during our fundraiser ⚡️Help Wanted ⚡️June 27th 12-5 pm at @knowgoodmarket in Hartford. We got the beautiful classic car joint framed and ready to go for Gil. And for the lady a nice underwater ponyo for the bathroom (yet to be framed), note the quality of the print and the detail in the closeup of the surprised fish. If you’re still reading please forgive the trending freaky audio that doesn’t necessarily fit the vibe of this post, I just love it so much? I am listening to it 24 hours a day in my mind and I never tire of it, and every time I have to check my own post I want to hear it. This and every other slightly different song or mix with Cacau Chuu by @milkylumps
