This is designed to help beat the inner critic!

In collaboration with MILLU, we created the Inner Critic Kit.

It helps kids learn the skills needed to reframe negative thoughts into helpful ones through play-based activities.

If you know a child or are a parent of a child that struggles with low confidence or says ‘I can’t do this’ often, this is for them!

The main character in this kit, Slim, is based off of @chazsmith personal story & lessons learned growing up as a son to NBA player Charles Smith.

Comment ‘SLIM’ to get the link to the kit & a special offer!

Kids CAN learn to manage their inner critic!👇🏻

The Inner Critic Kit helps kids notice negative self-talk, challenge the thoughts holding them back, and practice responding in a more helpful way through play!

Because the thoughts in their heads don’t have to have the final say. by @millubox

Reframing doesn’t mean ignoring the hard thought. It means helping kids see another way through it. 💭

From “I can’t do this” to “I can’t do this yet,” small shifts in self-talk can become skills they carry with them as they grow.

That’s what the MILLU Inner Critic Kit helps kids practice. Through play, conversation, and deep connection. 🍎 by @millubox

What’re you too hard on yourself about?

Now, what would you say to someone who feels the same way?

Sometimes, it starts with simply saying the difficult thing out loud.

Giving yourself a moment to hear what’s really going on.

To sit with the thought long enough to realize:
I’m having this thought, but I don’t have to stay here.

We can learn to notice the voice that tears us down, question what it’s telling us, and practice choosing a more helpful perspective.

And those are skills we can start teaching young, too. 💛
That’s why we created MILLU’s Inner Critic Kit: to give kids hands-on ways to notice negative self-talk, challenge it, and practice responding with a stronger, more helpful voice. by @millubox

You know something is powerful when you’ve used it over 100 times... and you still get encouraged. 🤡🤍

The way we talk to ourselves matters. Our brains are constantly forming and strengthening pathways through repetition. The more we practice words of encouragement, self-compassion, and truth, the more natural those neural pathways become. That’s the power of neuroplasticity ⚡️🧠

Follow @millubox for more real talk on mental health, self-talk, and the things we’re still figuring out too 🤍

Tag your work bestie! 🤝🏻

How often do you get to hear the genuinely good things your coworkers think of when they think of you? 🫵🤍 Sometimes we think great things about our teammates but never get a chance to say it out loud.

That’s what you get to do at our trainings!

One thing we say often at MILLU is that it’s free.99 to give someone an affirmation, but it might make a world of difference to the person receiving it. Because you bring something to the table that no one else can.

We get to spend our days with the people shaping the next generation 🥹🤍

It’s back to school season and in just 48 hours, we had the privilege of equipping and encouraging more than 300 educators across Northern California on the power of presence, social and emotional skills in the age of technology, and why their work matters ❤️‍🔥

Every conversation, every workshop, every moment of reflection reminds us that when we invest in educators, we’re investing in every child they’ll impact.

Shoutout to Linden Unified School District ❤️‍🔥

It’s the little details that make the experience. 🤍

From hidden surprises at the bottom of the box to collectible character cards, stickers, and even a branded glue stick. Every part of the Uniqueverse Kit was designed with intention.
Because we believe the smallest moments of delight can make learning feel a little more playful, a little more memorable, and a lot more meaningful.
