Since the summer, I have had the beautiful privilege to work with @theguild.official. Not only as a writer , but also director for my first original short play, Secrets before Sunrise. I am incredibly grateful for everyone in this process and I cannot wait to see what the future holds🔪🪞🍿 by @milos.movement

October is Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome awareness month (POTS). Spring semester last year I was formally diagnosed with this condition after seeking answers for years. This is not something you cure, it’s something you have to just manage, it’s a life time condition. As a Dancer and athlete I’ve had to accommodate and adapt depending on what my body is telling me.
Not every day is the same- some days I can dance and walk for HOURS and others I am bed bound. Not every day is the same, not every person with POTS is the same. It’s not just simply a “fainting” condition. It is so much more complicated. No matter if I’m having a flare, or the best day with full energy I try to find the pockets of sunshine in everything. Dancing with a dynamic disability is complicated, and it’s something I’m STILL learning to figure out. Treat your body with love, not all disabilities are visible, there is always help, there is always hope.🦓🧂 by @milos.movement
