POSTS STORIES REELS

Every spring I hear people wondering how to find bike groups (casual, athletic, whatever) in the Milwaukee area, so I figured someone ought to sit down and list them all. This is still a list in progress (sorry to the folks I'm still adding!), and I'm not sold on the design, but it's sunny and warm today. When else am I gonna put this out in the world?

Send a message if you have updates or edits for me. Happy riding!

Have you heard about the new Wisconsin license plates that @bikefed developed with David Hornung, the designer of the iconic sailboat and barn plates? These will be a fun way to support the Bike Fed and to make sure everyone knows your other ride doesn’t fill up by the gallon.

The full plates are expected to be available from the state in 2027, but miniature preview plates arrived in the mail today for early supporters!

Follow the Wisconsin Bike Fed for updates on this program, and of course all the other fantastic events and advocacy that they operate across the state. by @milwaukeebikerides

The @bikefed 2026 ride guide arrived in the mail today! As always it features lots of incredible rides, events, and trails throughout the state. This edition has several Milwaukee highlights, including @milwalkeewalks book recs, the amazing Euro-Asia Imports inventory at @benscycle, all the great potential of the building trails along 30th St Corridor, the latest from @milwaukeembr, and a look at lots of area youth programs.

And don’t miss Wisconsin Bike Week, coming up on May 31st - June 7th! by @milwaukeebikerides
