Hi there beautiful! Thank you for stopping by. If youโ€™re new here, welcome! My name is Tania Correa. Iโ€™m a licensed lash technician and esthetician in the lovely state of Connecticut. Located in the heart of downtown Danbury. Fun fact about me is I was born and raised here in Danbury and am honored to have built my business within the community I was raised in. Mirada Lashes & Aesthetics Co. was founded as a result of my passion for the beauty industry alongside my desire to help others in sharing my experiences with beauty & wellness products. I started working in the beauty industry in both retail and the corporate end however, I knew I wanted to learn a skill that would place me on the forefront to helping women directly. I started my journey in 2019 by learning lash extensions and went back to school in 2022 to become an esthetician and the rest is history! So why MIRADA Aesthetics pronounced (Me - ra - da). Well translated from Spanish it means a look, a glance, a gaze. This name is a reflection of the journey each individual has endured in hope to find their authentic โ€œlook.โ€ Here at MIRADA Aesthetics we understand it can be overwhelming navigating the endless amount of services, products, trends that are out there in the beauty industry. Which is why our mission is to provide services personalized with your best interests in mind without the pressure to embody a look that does not define YOU. Fast forward 5 years later I am beyond blessed to have been able to cross paths with 400+ women from all walks of life. A big THANK YOU for choosing, considering, or even referring Mirada Lashes & Aesthetics Co., the support truly never goes unnoticed โค๏ธ #ctlashtech #smallbusinessowner #ctbossbabe #ctlicensedlashtech #danburyctartist #danburyct #danburybusiness #ctentrepreneur #miradaaesthetics #ctsmallbusiness #ctspa #ctlicensedesthetician by @miradaaesthetics
Brow Lamination, broken down โœจโ€จEvery step of your appointment is intentionalโ€”from start to finish. โœ”๏ธ Patch test (done prior to your visit): Ensures your skin reacts safely to the products.โ€จโœ”๏ธ Hair assessment: I analyze your natural brow pattern, texture, and growth direction to customize your results.โ€จโœ”๏ธ Processing: The solution softens the hairs so they can be reshaped.โ€จโœ”๏ธ Repositioning: Brows are lifted, smoothed, and styled into their new, fuller shape.โ€จโœ”๏ธ Neutralization: This step locks everything in place.โ€จโœ”๏ธ Mapping & design: Your brows are shaped to complement your facial features.โ€จโœ”๏ธ Final refinements: Clean-up, trimming, and detailing.โ€จโœ”๏ธ Aftercare education: So your brows stay flawless for weeks. This isnโ€™t just a serviceโ€”itโ€™s a transformation โœจ#connecticut #browlaminationtraining #browspecialist #danburyct by @miradaaesthetics

โœจ5 tips to ensure a proper lift โœจ 1. Proper Lash Cleansing & Prep Ensure lashes are completely clean and free of oils, makeup, and residue before applying any solutions. 2.Choosing the Right Rod/Shields Size The size of the rod or shield determines the curl. For a more dramatic lift, use a smaller rod, and for a softer, more natural look, opt for a larger one. Ensure lashes are properly adhered with no crisscrossing. However, also take note of the clients direction of growth. As clients with a natural lift to their lashes can opt for rods/shields that will give a soft lift such as a C curl. 3. Even Product Application Apply lifting and setting solutions evenly, keeping them at least 1mm away from the lash line to avoid over-processing and irritation. Ensure all lashes are coated for a consistent lift. 4. Correct Processing Time Follow the manufacturerโ€™s recommended time for the solutions, but adjust based on lash thickness. Fine lashes need less time, while thicker lashes may require a bit longer to lift properly. Definitely note where you apply the solutions first and have a timer readily accessible. Constantly check lashes by taking a lash and bending it off the rod. If the lash is resistant creating a U when pulled away from. More time is required. If the lash is a strong V shape you are good to go! Note temperature of the room can also impact processing time. Manufacturer recommendations in my opinion are only baselines depending on clients lashes, temperature of room etc. 5. Thorough Aftercare & Maintenance Advice Advise refrain from rubbing their eyes. Mascara MAY be worn however must not be waterproof. Provide hydrating lash aftercare products. Proper aftercare ensures the longevity of the lash lift. Any of these tips helpful?
